Personally, each to there own, I love light weight punchy engines hatch backs and tbh I can't see much to touch a V in that field. The smiles per mile factor is neigh on unbeatable when they're running right. If you've got the money to indulge in something your passionate about then why the hell not? The misses dad spends thousands a year on golf for fuck sake, goes once a month and always bitches about getting beat. If I spent the equivalent on a car I can drive it at least once a week and get a giggle every time.

Full rolling is200 is 1360kg, just stripping shit out could get it down to sub 1300kg, 1uzfe weighs around 180kg, unsure of what the standard IS200 lump weighs but I'm 90% sure it's a steel block

The chassis isn't too bad as far as a saloon goes and the lumps aluminium which helps! Thor sell the mounts too ;)

Is this car gonna be a daily? An AE86 will be uncomfy, a bit sacrilegious to stack up the miles on and drink juice because to be honest it's gettin on now lol If its a track car your after theyre bob on.

Direcly After the down pipe aswell mine tightened up to about 2 inches :S seemed like a random thing to do! Was alright though

Personally I use talcum powder when looking for a vac leak, or any spray stuff that will bubble lol

The D1s are surprisingly awesome aswell. Loads of settings to fiddle with on them and they're priced well

All 4bolts can be fitted but the slide becomes a little stiff, no biggie but it just felt more solid to me! Get a mate to push the rail with a breaker bar towards the hole and then ratchet the bolt in quick time. Keeps MOT testers happy lol

So much comfier than standard seats... Took me ages because the bar in the tilt mechanism wouldn't lock into the back of the seat back properly, drove me nuts but loved them lol Enjoy!
