Must be buying from RHD ;)

Thought it was a good "story" more than anything else. Music was the best bit tbh lol.
-
I went to do it online, and the page kept fucking up, had to keep putting in all my details over and over again, gave up in the end. Don't think my numbers would have won anything anyway

Depends what monkey has been ripping you off for labour lol.

Strip club, spending £5k on my mrs won't give me the same kind of fun

**5zigen Pro Racer Exhaust Hangers HELP ASAP**
AdamB replied to FrancyGlanza's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Just cut the hangers off and re-weld the old ones on, simple job and will only take 10 mins. -
Is that knocking noise from the exhaust? Can't quite tell from the video. Have you washed the car recently? Could have got water down the spark plug holes. What fuel did you put in?
-
Which setting are all these under? Is it under the gain setting? If it is that won't make no difference to your peak boost pressure but it will adjust the spool time slightly, ie how long it keeps the wastegate shut for to build pressure. 149bhp sounds about right for the mods, with a decat it will probably be a little more.

Not really mate, its just a simple bolt on jobby, unless you want to run it as an fmic. You could probably only make the piping longer anyway so not needed to fuck about with it

Brand new BC Coilovers and my tyres are scrubbing out fast. ??
AdamB replied to Ct9's topic in Chassis & Suspension
^^^ Agreed, know anywhere round your way Grant that does it? Only seems to be motorsport places that can be bothered to fork out for a set of scales lol. -
My Chameleon setup cost me probably near enough £700, I brought the largest size viv and just made a bench to make it smaller, then I can easily increase the size just by cutting the legs down on the bench.
-
What mods you got and what boost controller is it?
-
It might be stiff because it has the pin in it which secures it and stops it from moving. If there are no vac leaks it could be a problem with the actuator not keeping the wastegate shut long enough.

You should always get the alignment checked/adjusted when playing with any suspension or steering components. The geometry won't change unless you hit a pot hole/curb/ have a crash etc. -
Toyota Glanza V (TD04) PRICE DROP £3,200 ONO NEED THIS GONE
AdamB replied to endlesstimes's topic in Cars For Sale
Like I said, the car was good when I see it which was a few months ago, and as far as i'm aware it has been sat there since! Not being funny but if you was "refused pictures" did that not ring alarm bells? No your right I don't gethe point of the thread, your slagging Dom off which could have been sorted by contacting him instead of bringing it up on here, you could have politely asked him if he would help you out, and now your slagging me off and trying to give me a bad reputation? Mate I don't know your experience or who or what you know, wheel bearings are far from an expensive item! Takin -

AdamB replied to endlesstimes's topic in Cars For Sale
Hang on, don't get me involved, I haven't had nothing to do with the car or your buying experience, so don't try and give me a bad reputation for fuck all. To be quite frank, if the wheel bearings where that fucked you would have heard them, you was aware of the wiring issue with the ecu, and the ABS light was clear to see on the dashboard. You could have asked for interior pics? Then you would have seen for yourself the condition that it is in. If there is anyone that should be even remotely blamed it should be TD considering they done the work on the car, do you not think? I doubt Dom even -

I've just spoke to Dom and he's told me how much you paid for the car, and tbh I would keep your mouth shut. You got it for a steal price and your moaning about a couple of wheel bearings that would cost about £100. A little wiring issue and few hours of your time. -

I can indeed buddy. I don't know any of Dom's mates I only know him personally so I can only answer on his behalf. The car was completely standard when Dom brought it from Tuning Developments, it had a standard engine and standard turbo, ecu, injectors etc. The only thing the car had was aftermarket suspension system. As far as i'm aware this car had a forged engine in it at one point, the previous owner sold it to TD who then stripped it of all the good parts, sold them and replaced the forged engine with a stock one. Dom brought the car but wasn't happy with the power, he asked the lads a -
The GT2554R will be best, will only really make about 270bhp max, you will probably be able to get it to spool a lot sooner with a good ebc, good map and an efficient intercooler.
-
Check youtube mate, they have loads of tutorials on cad designs
-
There are two trim types of GT25 that I have found, a GT2554R or a GT2560R. At 1 bar it will be very efficient, and will make more power than a td04 at this boost, but according to the flow map it will only really flow 1.4 bar maximum. Spool wise the GT2554R will make 1 bar boost around 3400rpm. Source http://www.atpturbo.com/root/maps/gt25r.htm

I'm not really clued up on the SAFC tbh so don't really know. But you want to be aiming for a target AFR between 11.2-11.8 @ WOT. Like I said, to ensure it is safe it needs to be checked using det cans.
-
I've used solidworks for 2 years now at uni, its very easy to pick up, it even has its own tutorials in the programme if you get stuck. You can also make some quite complicated designs with it
-
You got it mate, a FPR is a mechanical device which can alter the fuel pressure which is why it is needed. The flow rate of the injectors is then increased due to the pressure being increased. The stock ecu is able to fuel upto 0.8/0.85 bar where it reaches fuel cut. Although doing this method does not allow for any ignition advance changes, so it is best to ensure the AFR is setup using a wideband and det cans, if there is any det the fuel pressure can be backed off, but backing off the fuel pressure will increase the AFR @WOT which is not what we want, causing the engine to run lean. This i

Depends how far your willing to travel. I would recommend Andy Robinson race cars near Reading.
