  1. 82 is for winners ;)
  2. Yep is true. I brought my 5EFHE as thats what I was told it was, so I may have a set of cams but i'll have to measure them to find out which ones they are lol.
  3. Another one bites the dust
  4. The 5EFHE cams are slightly better, but as said the valve springs are different.
  5. Sounds like an RB28 to me, sounds exactly like my dads They do sound awesome! I love this one
  6. If you want more efficiency, run a water injection system before the turbo to cool the air even further ;)
  7. You get the size chart with the plastigauge mate and just measure it with that
  8. Compressor sizes were the same, but the B had one extra turbine blade to help spool up the fat brother glanza to pull its hefty 960kg weight lol.
  9. Useless mate, don't bother. If the seller doesn't know their car/can't be bothered to answer potential buyers it's a waste of time.
  10. Aslong as its got history with it, then I don't see why not
  11. Bloke smoke is indicated as fuel. Blue smoke is oil. If you've got a high idle, and assuming everything else is ok, you must be burning oil which is why it idles high. Could be valve stem seals.
  12. Yes Shorty the pressure switch is the same as well. I've heard that some engines have failed on start up as well as under high load. Understandable with the high load because the 5E was never designed to rev very high unless you have the FHE. Are the relief valves the same? This im not too sure on as they could be bleeding off pressure at different levels. Which is why some are shimmed?
  13. I thought the 4E sump was baffled from factory? Well atleast slightly anyway. And obviously its convinent that it has the oil return already plumbed in. I also thought the 4E and 5E oil pumps were the same? I'll be using the 4E setup on mine.
  14. Here buddy http://www.id-workz.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_8_106&products_id=369
  15. For sale: Iphone 3GS 16gb in white Item Condition: Fairly good Price and price conditions: £90 delivered including fees Extra Info: Had this phone as part of my contract just over 2 years ago, contract has now ended and i've moved on to a different phone. It works 100% fine, although it does need a new LCD screen as the backlight has gone, this doesn't effect the function of the phone at all and just makes it slightly hard to see the screen, I have tried to show this in the pics, but they make it look worse than it actually is. You can get a new screen from ebay for a few quid which comes w
  16. Wind the windows down lol. Although my GT is sat on my drive not doing much at the mo, but it's even better being on a bike ;)
  17. Dyno print or GTFO ;)
  18. Yeah it will be safe on a stock engine if the fuelling is setup correctly But the more boost you run the more likely it is going to cause failed ringlands, because most stock engines are rather old and done a fair few miles, the ring's won't seal as good as what they did when the engine came out the factory. So there will be more gas passing under the piston rings.

Agree, but depending on the caliper you go for check the specs of what disc diameter and thickness they can take, then you can make custom brackets to suit that size disc to ensure you get enough/all the pad touching the disc.
  20. No matter what you do it needs to be remapped to be safe, you can't just bolt on items and expect them to work to their full potential. Yes it will be safe but I wouldn't advise going balls out until its been checked/remapped. The VF35 will be more laggy than a td04, but you have to trade off spool for power. You can't have one without the other or you'll have a really unbalanced turbo, which is why the garrett GT2860 is such a good turbo, has a great size turbine coupled with the perfect compressor.

That's common sense^^^, you would clearly be able to see that a disc with a centre bore too small won't fit, and with a centre bore to large it's going to be unsafe. I've looked and there doesn't seem to be any production vehicle discs which are bigger than the stock starlet size, and suit the centre bore size and PCD.
  22. Not really Amjad, because the TD04 will flow more air (CFM) than a ct9 at 1 bar. So to add to the extra air, extra fuel will need to be added to compensate for the change.
  23. The VF series are just ballbearing versions of the TD series with a few minor differences. The VF series will flow more than the TD series.
  24. VF35 will see you over 300bhp

    4 pots help ?

It would depend on the disc size. Aslong as the discs are the same PCD as the hub, and the caliper clears the wheel you'll be fine. I'm looking at running a set of brembo's on mine
