  1. Useless mate, don't bother. If the seller doesn't know their car/can't be bothered to answer potential buyers it's a waste of time.
  2. Aslong as its got history with it, then I don't see why not
  3. Bloke smoke is indicated as fuel. Blue smoke is oil. If you've got a high idle, and assuming everything else is ok, you must be burning oil which is why it idles high. Could be valve stem seals.
  4. Yes Shorty the pressure switch is the same as well. I've heard that some engines have failed on start up as well as under high load. Understandable with the high load because the 5E was never designed to rev very high unless you have the FHE. Are the relief valves the same? This im not too sure on as they could be bleeding off pressure at different levels. Which is why some are shimmed?
  5. I thought the 4E sump was baffled from factory? Well atleast slightly anyway. And obviously its convinent that it has the oil return already plumbed in. I also thought the 4E and 5E oil pumps were the same? I'll be using the 4E setup on mine.

  7. For sale: Iphone 3GS 16gb in white Item Condition: Fairly good Price and price conditions: £90 delivered including fees Extra Info: Had this phone as part of my contract just over 2 years ago, contract has now ended and i've moved on to a different phone. It works 100% fine, although it does need a new LCD screen as the backlight has gone, this doesn't effect the function of the phone at all and just makes it slightly hard to see the screen, I have tried to show this in the pics, but they make it look worse than it actually is. You can get a new screen from ebay for a few quid which comes with tools to change it and some even come with instructions, although there are plenty of video's on youtube showing you how to change the screen. The back casing does have a few marks as can be expected, I have tried to show this in the pictures also. Again a new back can be picked up off ebay for a couple of quid. Pictures: Contact Details: PM on here Location: Oxford Delivery & Conditions of Delivery: Price included in delivery, will be sent first class or collection can be arranged
  8. Wind the windows down lol. Although my GT is sat on my drive not doing much at the mo, but it's even better being on a bike ;)
  9. Dyno print or GTFO ;)
  10. Yeah it will be safe on a stock engine if the fuelling is setup correctly But the more boost you run the more likely it is going to cause failed ringlands, because most stock engines are rather old and done a fair few miles, the ring's won't seal as good as what they did when the engine came out the factory. So there will be more gas passing under the piston rings.

Agree, but depending on the caliper you go for check the specs of what disc diameter and thickness they can take, then you can make custom brackets to suit that size disc to ensure you get enough/all the pad touching the disc.
  12. No matter what you do it needs to be remapped to be safe, you can't just bolt on items and expect them to work to their full potential. Yes it will be safe but I wouldn't advise going balls out until its been checked/remapped. The VF35 will be more laggy than a td04, but you have to trade off spool for power. You can't have one without the other or you'll have a really unbalanced turbo, which is why the garrett GT2860 is such a good turbo, has a great size turbine coupled with the perfect compressor.

That's common sense^^^, you would clearly be able to see that a disc with a centre bore too small won't fit, and with a centre bore to large it's going to be unsafe. I've looked and there doesn't seem to be any production vehicle discs which are bigger than the stock starlet size, and suit the centre bore size and PCD.
  14. Not really Amjad, because the TD04 will flow more air (CFM) than a ct9 at 1 bar. So to add to the extra air, extra fuel will need to be added to compensate for the change.
  15. The VF series are just ballbearing versions of the TD series with a few minor differences. The VF series will flow more than the TD series.
  16. VF35 will see you over 300bhp

    4 pots help ?

It would depend on the disc size. Aslong as the discs are the same PCD as the hub, and the caliper clears the wheel you'll be fine. I'm looking at running a set of brembo's on mine
  18. Depends on the fuel pressure you want to run, but 440's will do the job.
  19. I got a pair of adjustables on mine and it came out straight away mate. Spray some WD over it and try and give it a crack.
  20. Won't be a fuelling a problem, they are two different circuits until they hit the back of the valve.

    CT9 Hybrid

I have one too, the seals have gone on the turbine side, can pick up rebuild kits dirt cheap as well. ToyTuning hybrid with adjustable actuator, was only ever ran at 0.6 bar.
  22. Tbh mate, what I would do is run like quarter tank, if that, get it checked on a wideband and det cans to show that its upto the job/the knock sensor is doing its job properly. Then add a mix of Toulene and see if it improves/worsens things. Then you'll have an answer. But since every engine will react differently and every ecu will see different input signals its hard to say exactly what it's going to do unless checked.
  23. I couldn't tell ya mate Not even jap auctions have much listed under TRD.
  24. If your just after making the fuel "safer to use" then yes add some Toulene as it's readily available, won't eat anything, but still have to get a good mix to dilute thoroughly. I would just use a 5% premix, but to make sure do get it checked on a wideband and det cans like I said before. It's not worth the risk.
  25. I swear TRD used to make them? But were discontinued a long time ago, so probably never find one.
