  5. got just under 200bhp with my blitz ECU on a ct9 @ 1bar....
  6. alternatively you can check it this way.. 89/92 pins differ to 92/96 pins.. some wires are different and some are not there at all between ECU's check your wires on your loom to ECU to make sure it matches all the pins..   7. theres a simple way to check to see if the ECU is compatible with your car.. put the 2 ECU's together and check the pins to see if they are the same
  8. BINGO... that could well be the problem.. these ECU's dont work with aftermarket FPR's well they do but they really over fuel and run like shit and somethimes not run at all.. it may be flooding
  9. have your anything else plumbed into the ECU loom... ?
  10. said id throw up this to see what yee think.... made up this light for the rear of my AE101 Levin GT APEX.. the corolla emblem was easy to play with so i removed the paint from it and made up a little reflective box and rigged up a light using a bulb from the clocks in a glanza dash to the parker loom.. came out well enough i think... --------------------------------------------- things used: cassette tape box 2 lengths or wire reflective spray paint black spray paint bulb from glanza dash clocks strip of plastic from glanza clocks money spent: nothing --------
  11. with wide open throttle..??? is the engine management light coming on...??
  12. did ya clean the sensors vincent..?? are the ABS rings there..?? also, remove one of the sensors (still plugged into loom) and turn on ignition and see if the tip of the sensor is magnetized.. (try stick a screw, bolt or screw driver to it)
  13. recaro rails alone are worth 150 pounds... you will be lucky to get a max of 450 pounds as is now.. i know cause ive sold 5 complete sets of these.. 3 of which were to members on here GLWTS
  14. as above, warm and make sure you pull the EFI relay and have WOT "wide open throttle" too.. and just to add, 140 across all 4 is not bad, my engine was 135 across all 4 and it was perfect... although it should be reading higher if the head was skimmed, unless the HG is thicker than stock
  15. just ment anything other than a genuine release bearing mate...
  16. id check the thermostat first.. if the bottom pipe was hard all of the time the thermostat isnt opening.. simple way to know if the thermo isnt opening: when driving the car the temp needle drops.. ?
  17. cheapish release bearings never last with paddle clutches.. id change it asap cause it could damage the pressure plate.. same happened me, paddle clutch with cheap release bearing.. it destroyed the pressure plate and disc for a finish
  18. yep, straight fit.. just remember tho, the GT box take more oil than a glanza box.. just under 2.5litres iirc
  19. tits and cars.. cause if you have either, they will give you trouble.. luckily i dont have tits but my car is a cunt
  20. HKS actuator, set to 1bar and off ya go.. shouldnt creep, if it does, try a more restrictive filter.. ull always get a bit of creep in the cold weather anyway
  21. really wasnt clear in my last comment sorry... i dont think ive ever heard or seen a catastrophic hg failure like that.. i ment to say, theres no point ripping off the head assuming its the hg... he mentioned oil around alternator and brake cylinder... id lean more towards an oil pump failure and the belts then threw the oil up there... loss of oil pressure could of then blowin something else so it could be a few problems (all this can happen in seconds).... source the problem then comp test the engine
