I know of a pal sports ecu. (tabs have been opened but are still there.. They where opened to try and find out the spec on the chip. Nothing else was touched, cover removed, quick look, shut again.) Only spec we could find was the raised 7700rpm limit Currently running a glanza at 1 bar on ct9. Works perfectly

Haven't seen your thread before but I love it! I've gone to an ep80 because of the light weight and simplicity! I also went for the trd shocks and springs nice and firm! -
From my research they can take .8-1.0 that's with 4efte pistons and should be safe with a good map. That's what I'll be running anyway

why dont mk1 gauge clusters fit mk2 and 3 ep82?
richardc9052 replied to Chops's topic in Interior & ICE
Well all the ep82 clocks receive the same information.. i am not 100% sure but it should only be wiring/plugs -

The wiring is incorrect as far as i know. -

What rpm did your friend raise his limit to? What engine was it on? Did he have a piggyback system? Did he make any modifications to the engine to be able to manage higher rpms?
-
if you want to raise the rev limit on a 4e/5e euc its much cheaper just to change the crystal in the ecu.. that way theres no fooling and the ecu still has its limiting function as normal

LeCid Reunion Island... NA-T project EP91

4afe flywheel?? was that a direct fit or did you have it redrilled? Cool setup by the way -
It wont shorten the life span that much and the replacement wideband sensors arent that expensive, its the name, controller and gauge you pay for. The sensors themselves are just Bosch units.

never had a rear brace but in the front it allowed my car to actually go around a roundabout in the wet vs under-steering across lanes

I need to see where the vacuum pipes that go from the carb, into the intake (weird 2 port attachment). Where does each one go next or does it matter what order they go in? -

What condition is the shock itself in? As in, if you swapped the springs out and gave them a clean up the would work fine or are the shocks blown? -
Is there a DIY for this??

pointers to cut down the lag

You can get it mapped. a good tuner should be able to bring down the spool time slightly. Nitrous or water/meth injection also help. You could also fit a 0.5mm head gasket to up compression, but that may affect reliability depending on your mapper/fuel
