  11. very tidy glanza! , those wheels looks awesome!, i wanted a set of rota drifts on mine but i did some research and it really does look good but i think it puts alot of stress of the front wheels i.e the cv joints etc, ive got a feeling you would be forever replacing them because they would be always popping out the joints. if your willing to sort it out everytime then go for it because it really does look good
  12. Looks awesome! by the way were did you get that carbon spoiler from...want want want! , how did it handle with the meisters on because arnt they road coilovers ?
  13. booo
  14. My car is now back on the road it wasnt the release bearing at fault it was that the previous owner who had a new clutch and lsd put in the gearbox had not tightened all the bolts up connecting the engine and bellhousing together properly. One bolt was completely missing and one bolt with less than finger tight, so i put a new bolt in and tightened the other bolt up (FT) and started the car up and pressed the clutch....Bingo no more noise! it was making the squeeling/scraping noise because the gearbox had moved slightly and the fly wheel was scraping on a metal plate on the gearbox bell housing which protects dirt and water getting inside. while the car was up on the ramps i took a few pictures 1st of all LSD Gearbox Tein Rear Coilover (horrible condition) Actually on the ramp Turbo (shiney oil return pipe) After work i thought i would spray a few more little bits Rad Stay Bonnet prop Battery clamp All

  22. soo now my car is off the road for a bit i thought i would start doing some more bits removed my ducktail spoiler to check the condition of the boot as the colour around the spoiler was going a bit beige when i removed it my face just dropped the fact it was so so dirty! got my trusty tar remover which works wonder and cleaned it up the remains is the old glue or whatever Also removed my badge as it was beige inbetween the badge and couldnt get to it so i got a very very thin small flat headed screwdriver and pealed it off All clean soo didnt quite no what to do next at that point so i had a look in my garage to give me some ideas and i found a tin of black hamerite which i used to underseal my Fiesta with (prone to rust), so i thought i would paint my inner archs to protect them from rusting as i hear these dont come coated in anything at the factory so on the jack she goes removed the wheel and i came across this baby! Had a look on the other side on my car because i couldnt see a make on this side and they are infact Tein Coilovers! WIN! just very tired and not wound down ;) What the inner arch looked like Too Looks pretty good and its just nice to feel safe that your archs wont go rusty any time soon ... Touch wood! unfortunatly my dad came back after i had finished this one and he wanted me to build up his 125cc Rotax Max kart so i had to down tools
  23. feel really sorry for you mate when i bought my car it was black underneath the bonnet but that is gonna take a good two days cleaning that up
  24. well that lasted long, was perfectly enjoying my car when yesterday i put my car down my drive, half an hour later i went to reverse out my drive, put my foot down on the clutch and this horrible squeeling/scraping sound appeared ;) slowly reversed it out my drive and took it up the street, car drives fine but the sound isnt healthy, all last night i was up looking for the answer, didnt really get a definate answer were someone has experience this kinda noise before but the majority thought it was the clutch release bearing. took the car to a local garage today and the guy said the same, so its gonna be a good £400 in labour im guessing...but luckily i did my work experience there from college and it turns out i know have a little job doing 3 days a week so ill be working on my own vehicle next week and the wages ill be getting will be taken of the bill so win win ... some things that are one day so depressing and terrible that the next it all turns out good since the car wont be driven about i might aswel crack on with painting a few more items, maybe paint my inner archs etc updates will be posted shortly.
