  1. So much easier dropping then down and then lifting the car up I reckon.
  2. I've done it before by leaving the wiring loom on the engine and unplugging it from the ECU and pulling it through from the firewall, just make sure everything bolted to the car is unplugged (i.e. map sensor, brake fluid level sensor etc, Just another option for you. Make sure gear cables are well out of the way...
  3. check both callipers are tight and that all pads have worn evenly, if all is good I'd say warped discs
  4. Thanks patman, I will PM you if I haven't found one Good question, it's for the EP70 but the loom is a GT loom
  5. Have you checked the single wire to the temp sensor on the thermostat housing? Could also be the relay?
  6. Looking for a MAP and Throttle position sensor, having a few issues and I'm thinking one of these could be to blame. Must be willing to post or I can collect close to Hull but I don't want to drive miles in case she decides she doesn't want to take me home! Thanks, Charlotte
  7. Yeah I think so, no front reg plate. Maybe he's not on here
  8. Have you checked the relay? the relay died on my 70 the other week ... could be that?
  9. Cruise wings are wider but I don't know by how much. I quite like the way mine drive on 8J, but each to their own!
  10. No arch work to the rear, livesports wings on the front. If I were you I'd go for et20 for sure. et5 would look awesome but you'd struggle much more with fitment adjustable panhard rod is an absolute must though. they're 15's
  11. which shape starlet? and it depends on the offset as much as the width really. I have 8J on my GT et17 and its on D2's, can't have it slammed as it does catch. 20mm wider livesports fenders on the front, panhard rod on the back. does scuff the rear over rough ground. that's with 195 45 tyres too.
  12. Took a trip up to Park Engineering and spotted a white Glanza parked up on a corner on the industrial estate (where the big breakfast meet is held). Anyone on here?
  13. oooh love it!! great choice of colour, looks mint. will keep an eye out for updates
  14. Oh that's great to know thanks, I'm going to try it today, daren't pop the bonnet yesterday it was too windy! Will post on here whether it was the nut or not. fingers crossed...
  15. Don't worry I won't be greasing any threads guys, I have a welder for that hahahaha
  16. Haha I meant grease the actual bearing not the nut. I have tonnes of thread lock kicking about but ill try just tightening it first and see if it comes loose again (if it is the nut). Ill bare that in mind Starlet_SR thanks, I have a load of them too s may be worth chucking on one
  17. Thanks for the replies everyone, much appreciated! I will try some grease and torqueing down the top nut, but if I have no joy I will fire you a PM Karl, Thanks again
  18. It could be, I had a bar under the wheel when it was last on the ramp and it wasn't knocking at all like I would've expected if it was the pillowball. i'll check the nut! Thanks Nick!
  19. So one of the front top mounts has started knocking on my BC coilovers. At the moment it's not too bad, but I'm conscious of it and I'd rather sort it sooner than later. So I'm trying to source a replacement pillowball basically, I THINK they're type RA... If anyone has a spare from a leaking set, or can put a link up to a replacement, I would be very grateful ] Charlotte
  20. I have a civic rad with slimline fan in my 4efte EP70, fits with no issues, and the pipes fit fine, just had to rotate the bottom pipe slightly and trim the top pipe, nothing major.
  21. Yeah what was the issue? would it be modified to fit do you think?
  22. Hi everyone, does anyone know if a EP82/EP91 chassis front anti-roll bar will fit an EP70? I have one sat about but I'm not convinced it will fit, not offered it up yet but definitely don't think it will fit. If not, can anybody recommend where to get an EP71 anti-roll bar? Cheers!
