  1. I ran 1 bar on an ARC top mount for 2 years. was absolutely fine.
  2. Yeah agreed, the box alone will help you out but will work best on sprinter in combination with lightweight flywheel and clutch etc.
  3. had one on one of my GT's. ratios are shorter in 1st and 2nd, good for acceleration. final drive is not much different, maybe drops the revs by 200rpm compared to a C52/C56. I really like how it drove tbf! Have to modify the shifter to get 6th gear and reverse though. just need to notch the plastic on the shifter housing slightly.
  4. My EP70 engine has 74.5mm ross pistons on scat rods. don't get any slap with mine. obviously had to notch the block slightly for the scat rods. I boosted it within reason right from the first drive to help bed the rings in but I haven't pushed the boost up too high yet as I'm not chasing power with it at this stage. seems very capable though! and agree with above, I've always used genuine Toyota headgaskets on all my engines even after block decked and head skimmed and never had a problem.
  5. Yeah as above, wouldn't stress yourself over getting actual glowbadge clips, they usually break on removal anyways. You can use door card clips, trim clips from GT trim or Glanza reg plate surround clips etc etc
  6. sweet, PM me your number and i'll arrange to come collect
  7. Awesome how much? can take a trip over and collect it
  8. As title says, looking for a glanza reg plate surround, any colour, doesn't have to come with the reverse lights, just the actual plastic surround will do. Thanks!
  9. Ford KA Sill held up against an EP80 Sill for anyone interested. Profile is nearly a perfect match to the P8 chassis
  10. Nah the width is OK, it's the offset that's the problem. The fronts you could fit aftermarket wings, but the rear you'll really struggle with.... I've not experimented with a glanza that much but on the other starlets any offset below about ET20 on an 8j rim you will struggle on the back. Stiff coilovers and no epic lows, panhard rod, bit of camber on the front (1.5 degrees give or take), 195 tyres and you could get away with 8j ET20 without much work but any lower offset is just going to eat the tyres/arches unless you run massive arch gap haha.
  11. much arch work, many scrubs...
  12. Sorry no Ford KA sills fit the ep8* chassis, should've mentioned that...
  13. Looking stunning, that engine and box are so clean! love the turbo kit too what splitter is that by the way?
  14. Yeah jut sand them down as above basically.
  15. As flat as possible really but don't go for too fine grit- the paint won't adhere as well if you've gone over it with really fine stuff. I go to 1000. the texture should be even and when you dry it off after flatting you can see if you've got it truly flat- the colour should be the same (dull) and if you get up close and there are small areas of dull and other areas of not so dull then it's not flat enough if that makes sense.
  16. What colour is the car now and what colour is it going? I would start by washing the car to get rid of contaminants (I use fairy liquid on things that I'm going to spray). Panel wipe it down a few times to get rid of any old polish etc. Key up anything that is getting painted with 600 grit wet and dry. keep it even. For stonechips or cracks in the old paint etc use some filler but like above be accurate when you mix it and let it go off for as long as possible. Depending on what/how much you've filled you could also use a bit of stopper over the top. Once everything is keyed up I t
  17. Depends how far you want to go I suppose and the condition of the body work, but to get a decent job it will take a fair load of prep. Is the body work straight? no repairs needed?
  18. It's on the slave cylinder on the front of the gearbox (just up and to the right of the oil pressure switch on the block)
  19. I love this so much, really hope to see this at some shows next year! Credit to you. Where did you get the splitter?
  20. 100kph is about 62mph according to google? seems a bit high to me.
  21. There may be subtle differences in the loom itself, switched earths vs switched powers etc, just plug it in and see what happens lol
