  1. Soon to be attempting this. Glad I read this thread or mine would also be the wrong way round!
  2. Hey we have use of a car trailer give us a shout and we can try help out
  3. Look miles better black I reckon
  4. Yeah I still think about what it would've turned out like with a toms kit instead but there are a lot of gt's with toms kits compared to livesports I suppose. Would love some really wide/low offset 14" wheels for it though haha
  5. Cheers for having us on a stand Adam top night. Need to get a few more faces from here down! Got a few starlet lads out end who are coming next time I think
  6. Yeah easy job if you're taking it to a proper place. Drill hole weld in bung thread in sensor (I used silver slip because of the constant hot-cold-hot-cold if you ever try to remove the sensor it will be a nightmare if not haha) as for the gauge itself just a power and a good earth (poor earth can affect the reading). Aem are self calibrating too. Yeah it's been an emotional journey! Still is sometimes! But I have the ep80 raring to go in the lock up if this decides to shit another engine haha. Cheers Liam saw yours just across the way clean and sparkling as ever!
  7. Thanks for the comments guys I do appreciate it! Nanglebadger- it was quite easy to fit compared to my other gauges. Originally my ct9 decat had 2 bungs which made life easy (once we got the other bung out lol) then just a case of running the wires through the firewall (behind glovebox) and wiring the gauge up which was no bother. Took the power from the radio power. When I went td04 I had to drill my exhaust and weld a bung in as the wepr decat only had one bung which I used for the standard lambda. Drilling the stainless exhaust was a challenge lol many melted drill bits but I'm sure if yo
  8. Hello everyone! After discussing it with a few members recently i thought i'd post a few photos to compare how my car was when i bought it and how it is now. I purchased it in 2011 for £1200 with no tax/test. It had been off the road for a long time in a garage and i found it through word of mouth. Spec when i bought it: - air con removed (badly) - jperformance decat/exhaust - fcd - 16" inovit stvi alloys in need of a refurb And that was it, other than the above she was as standard as they come, even standard ride height :/ haha- Since then a lot has happened
  9. Nah bc coilovers use different spanners I've tried them on my d2's and they didn't work and I've tried tein ones and they weren't perfect but managed to adjust them. D2's have one small and one large collar. Some coilovers have both collars the same size.
  10. They look right to me but see what other people say
  11. Yeah me and Sam were there in my gt advance. Was a good night!
  12. Restoring it to our best ability and turbo engine in time. Fires up no bother even with no exhaust and It's solid underneath and on the sills just needs a front wing and a bit of work on the rear arches but not actually too bad really.
  13. Cool why are you coming to brid? We're actually going to collect another starlet (lol) this morning. Shame you're not coming up tonight, Whitby cruise but a lot will be out and about in brid first they usually are.
  14. Had a 4s then upgraded to a 5c. I'd say the 5 is less glitchy but then again I've literally never had a problem with any apple product. Guess they're like starlet engines. Some last for years others are just problems haha
  15. Me and Sam are about 20 mins away, what time you coming for?
  16. Good meet looking forward to the next one!
