Why do people spend all this money?
funny onion replied to dangeestarlet's topic in Lifestyle General
It seems the more money spent on the car the less it gets driven. A lot of the high powered starlets do seem to spend most of their lives under a car cover or at the tuners. The only difference on the road between 250bhp and 300+bhp is a load of cash. In reality there's not a lot in it. This has been proven by quarter mile times etc. and I don't just mean starlets either. -
So much want

People who use the following words incorrectly; Brake/break Bought/brought Sight/site And the general use of "am" instead of I'm. Oh and people who do 40mph in a 60 zone then continue doing 40mph in a 30 zone. And people who don't use indicators.

I wonder how many people calling them shit have actually ran one? Ran the same on at various spring pressures and with an ebc for two years and never had a single issue with it.

Anything electrical on the door just unplugs in the footwell. So if you get the electrics with the new door it's just a case of plugging it in. I'd get it sprayed personally. The new door you get might not match the rest of your car anyway.

Out of interest what size engine is the 7afe? I may be able to get you a 7afe and looms...

Sam has a cusco rear strut on his and its a bastard to get on and off because the back end of his is bent as a nine bob note. But a hammer and lever bar usually does the job without too much grief.

Who built it? Receipts and actual spec list? I would be a bit sceptical because it hasn't been ran in yet :/ -

Me and Sam were there in mine- just in the normal car park. Got a quick snap of all the other starlets we saw- Liam's, the silver Glanza etc. The white gt near the lancer register stand was with yjoc (York jap owners) his name on here is bhott jdm or something. Spoke to him and mike in the gt that won the handling. Sound lad and impressive car!

Honest opinion- I don't like them that much on a gt. don't dislike them but never seen one that I've loved. I say give it a try and see how it looks!- 1322 replies

I'm looking for just the intercooler (front mount) pipe that bolts to the throttle body- but I'm after one that doesn't have a BOV port as that's what I have now but I don't run a BOV. Let me know what you have! Cheers
