  1. Thanks Adam I just wanted to test the water rather than regret something further down the line. Cheers for the reply
  2. As some of you may know I'm currently building up an engine to put back in mine after the last one turned to liquid. Just wondered if people had used Hastings piston rings? Theyre roughly half the price of toyota rings. Thoughts? Do it? Don't do it? Reasons? I've spoken to a reputable machining company and they said Hastings rings were good quality and didn't seem to have a higher fail rate than oem ones. But I don't want to have to pull the engine apart a month (or even a year) after putting it in :/ So far all parts I have are brand spanking toyota parts barring acl bearings. Any help/ad
  3. Where did you take it to be mapped?
  4. Are you bonding the panel on or putting a full mk1 boot lid on? Just out if interest. Yeah I do like the black bonnet tbh, clear indicators look well too. I do like silver gt's
  5. Looks really nice... Apart from that devil toyota badge, get rid!
  6. Bloody hell sorry to hear what happened. I HATE with a passion to see cyclists (or people driving) with headphones in. Think it's so dangerous, can't hear sirens etc. sometimes it is the cyclist at fault not the driver. unfortunately a person is always going to come off worse than a vehicle :/
  7. May be there. Mines in for remap a week today so doubt it will be on the strip.
  8. From hull! I probably seen it about! Don't k ow the kid though.
  9. I've got an Evo 8 front mount on mine. It's td04 now but I ran it for a while on the ct9 and it was mint. Didn't notice any more lag to an arc top mount tbh
  10. Hahaha Ill post on here any findings. It could be a poor connection from when the emanage was fitted or it could be nothing to do with the loom. Either way the map and loom is all to be checked a week on Thursday
  11. As far as I know it is, and it was fitted for ages before mapping and surely it should've been obvious on the dyno? :/ It's going for a remap a week on Thursday May have uncovered the potential cause of the problem, but I need to have more of a look etc. think it may be a problem with the injector wiring (ecu end not engine bay end). Not sure yet though.
  12. It's toyota 205 for the black and I used toyota 182 for the advance grey and it's spot on
  13. As I've said already looks the tits mate totally changed the look of the car. One of my fav square lights for sure.
  14. Love the s13! Get some more snaps up! Gt looks nice too, got to love the silver gt's
  15. I can get a silicone elbow on mine, but my intercooler is far too big for a filter. Havnt ran a filter or mesh for a year now and it's been fine (apart from the melted pistons, but that wasn't because I didn't run an air filter lol).
  16. BHOTT jdm is from York, mint white gt. and me and Sam aren't too far away!

    Roll cage

I've just fitted a cusco 4 point half cage and kept the rear seats (don't want to strip it and have my ears bleed). Such a good handling mod, totally recommend it.
  18. Cheers Marc. Ireland isn't a lot of good to me, cheaper just to get mine resprayed haha thanks anyway
  19. Lol I have my own thoughts on what te problem was/is. Just wanted the thoughts of members too haha. Mine was pushing it up until the piston let go. Not a lot in it though!
  20. I would replace any headgasket whenever the head comes off. As for bolts some people say you can reuse arp ones a few times but personally I wouldn't. Not worth risking it I reckon. Hopefully you won't be taking the head on and off a lot?
