I have 2 rocker covers, one chirps and the other doesn't. Other than drive me mad it has never seeme to affect anything I wouldn't worry.

What are they? Like!

Yay How about normal place at 12? I don't know that side of the river so would be easier to meet there but if you guys want to meet elsewhere then just put the postcode on here

I'm not. This has been building up for months now. I can't piss in the wind any longer with it money wise and now I don't even have a say in an engine that's cost me the price of a forged engine.
-
As title says what is my gt advance worth as a rolling shell?
-
This is correct I believe. Divers side shaft is shorter but passenger side is the same as a standard box

Another set of melted pistons after remap...
funny onion replied to funny onion's topic in Negative Feedback
This is the big day lol went to pull the map off before remapping it and it was locked :/ so no secrets were found there lol. Just done a full pdi and about to start mapping. It seemed the base fuel pressure was high, and the fuel pump was likely cavitating under high load because of how much pressure it was having to provide. Hopefully see how it goes l -
What wheels are these?
-
yeah there was a silver v at mfn nottingham last night with those on. mega wide though looked practically undriveable tbh
-
Thanks rob It's most likely to be a standard build Ricky, if I had the time I would've saved up for forged internals but Sam will want his engine back sooner or later and I'm still skint from paying for the remap in the first place :/ The bores will be honed etc using a flex hone (not the stone things). Crank is to be polished etc and everything had been flushed thoroughly. Only had the head skimmed a few months back and it's been checked on an engineers block and its perfect. New oil pump water pump etc. I'm debating using a 5e bottom end though as we have one sat at the unit but maybe no p

Woah! What power and set up? Something quite catastrophic must've happened. Maybe the transmission locked up or a piston/rod jammed somehow. Have you took it apart and had a look at pistons rods flywheel etc? How were you driving at the time?
-
Yeah that's why I've popped this thread up, hoping for some feedback from people who've maybe used them on here. The machining company I'm taking the crank etc to spoke very highly of them but couldn't say how they are in one of our engines. I'm not rushing to order them so ill see if anyone can give an insight hopefully. At the end of the day I would like to pay the cheaper price but I don't want to compromise.
