When mike was mapping mine yesterday it had a misfire under boost. Put new plugs in and it was still there. So tried new dizzy cap at it was fine after that.

Something like a Hotrod red would look good!

But the arc sticker mark on the front corner is still holding strong haha Yeah Sam's needs a fair bit of tlc before it goes for mapping. He wants a better manifold and downpipe really and would like an externally gated wepr or zisco but they fetch a good price and he's also crap at saving up. It mine for a steal luckily. Would really like a spoiler and a set if side skirts and rear spats now and get it looking a bit meaner. Then coilovers and a few handling mods

Have you tried dodo juice? I don't know a lot about detailing but I like dodo juice.

Sam and a lad from our way turbo'd a 4efe and after swapping the relevant bits like oil filter housing, sump, etc it ran fine at reasonably low boost but the lad ran it out of oil :/

Agreed. People who think td04's are laggy have clearly never been in something with a truely laggy set up!

Cheers guys I really love the wheels just wish they were a bit wider. Will get some better spacers for the back soon hopefully. I know rotas aren't everyone's cup of tea and some people are only about jdm wheels etc which is fine, but I really like these and could never afford rays haha

Haven't updated this in a while! -Finally got it on 15" wheels which i bought of kierz, top lad! rota grid's wrapped in goodyear eagle f1's. can't fault the tyres one bit, really impressed with them! -Fitted a walboro 255 fuel pump -Got an immense bargain on a pair of two evo 4 recaros on ebay, so i now have 3 haha. so finally got a matching pair of evo 4 recaros fitted. -Last but not least, took a trip across to tuning developments today for an emanage blue and remap as it has never ran 100% on the td04 kit and i knew it was down to it needing a remap ultimately. so rather than spend my time getting annoyed with it i bit the bullet and booked it in. Absolutely great service, communication and hospitality from mike! top lad! took us to warrington and picked us up a few hours later, thanks dude! pics; rota's fitted and boxing day bath! and pics of the dyno printout from today. Mapped at 1 bar on the wepr td04 kit, on 95 ron fuel; well happy with the figures and it has totally transformed the car. so much more power lower down in the rev range and a much nicer smoother drive. Used just shy of 3/4 of a tank on the way there, and only used 1/4 tank on the way home after the remap!

It's essentially the same as hitting fuel cut. Hard cut limiters will destroy any engine over time. Pops and bangs and flames aren't worth it if you ask me. People go on about how bad fcd's are for the engines etc, but these are ten times worse I reckon!

I don't have the standard lambda fitted right now, just a wideband and mine is pants on fuel. But she's going to tuning developments on Saturday for emanage and remap so hopefully it will fuel right and get better mpg

Unless its on its way out replacing it wouldn't make much of a difference. They only provide an "on/off" rich/lean signal to the ecu, so they either work or they dont if you get me. They're pretty cheap though so worth a try.

Try a new lambda sensor

Both mine are just vented to atmosphere with the port on the inlet blocked. No problems and no oil spitting out. One of them whistles a bit though :/ haha

30mm length of stainless ptfe pipe with an m12x1.5 banjo fitting on one end. The other end shouldn't have a fitting on because it should slide onto the hardpipes off the block. Just jubilee them on.

Not a td series flange on that manifold. Looks like a ct9 flange.
