Yeah preferably get it checked on rollers though so you can see what's happening right through the rev range. A reasonable tuners shouldn't charge you too much . The white wire is usually for data logging? (mines an aem so might be different) you can get an adapter to change the voltage output range of the wideband to the range needed by the ecu . Was a nightmare trying to get the bottom bung out of my decat, blow torch and breaker bars and all sorts, nearly snapped the engine mounts it was that tight lol
My afr was waaaay too high (lean). Would say get a wideband on it before you turn up the pressure though because yours might be the opposite. It's a very hard guessing game is fuel pressure unfortunately. Mines not spot on but it's 14 on normal driving and 11-12 on boost , and it pulls fine now with no misfiring or flat spots
If you're going for a bigger turbo, go front mount. If you're staying ct9, arc or rx7 top mout. I hate having this debate with people, there are pro's and cons for both. I'll be going fmic when I go td04 but until then my arc is worth it's weight in gold.
Hmm let the debate begin. "you can't up boost without a front mount." inlet temps may be a bit higher but the lag is 100% less. I've never ever had a problem with heat soak etc. makes me laugh how the big opinions come from people have never even tried an arc top mount lol
I have an ARC top mount at 0.8 bar (upping to a bar soon) and its perfect, instant boost. Dont need a fmic if your still running the ct9 IMO. I can rag my car like fuck for however long I want, park up and put my hand on the intercooler and it will be stone cold. one of the best mods I've done to the car ( relocating air filter was a close second).
The whole experience was terrifying. Especially when you semi panicked which made me panic lol. All in all, it will be amazing when straight lines and corners are achievable hahaha.
Bought a few goodies off this guy now, quad lights and indicators, recaro seat, hel braided lines etc, all have been spot on with no problems. Really nice guy and would recommend him to anyone Cheers Adam!
