  2. we look at stuff like this at uni, the g-meter and "tilt sensor" use the iphones accelerometer, which is pretty accurate tbf. the least accurate part is the gps. people seem to think gps is spot on accurate and it's not terrible, but it's accuracy does vary a lot due to atmospheric conditions etc were as the accelerometer holds constant accuracy. i want this app! might get it and have a play at weekend . was that the bonnet cable i got you? lol it's strange seeing your car with a grill, it was six months ago i came to buy the bonnet off you and even then it had no grill lol.
  3. yeah my ex has one, absolutely gutless right through the rev range and you get a pull just before the red line. massively disappointed considering all the hype they get and everyone seems to drop to the floor drooling over them. they can look awesome though slammed with loads of camber. and you can get supercharger kits if you have a few grand to spare, and you can find one. And obviously you could go turbo too. Not slow just no where near what i imagined. but on the whole a massive disappointment tbh.
  4. yeah i'm not preaching though haha, i'm still running a fcd, but i'll be splashing out on some form of management as soon as i can afford it. it's not just buying an ecu, it's getting it mapped as well that bumps the cost up but definitely a better investment for the long run
  5. best way to sort it out is an aftermarket ecu (piggyback or stand alone) like emanage blue/emanage ultimate. might be more expensive but when you get it mapped you can get the fueling spot on for whatever set up your running.

I didn't buy the kit new, bought it off a member on here hence it not having the downpipe and feeds with it i have spare ct9 oil feeds and pretty much everything spare for a ct9 set up so if i encounter major problems i'll just have to put her back to standard on your wastegate, were have you taken the pressure feeds from? like the side and the top feed on the wg? been told sooo many different things :S. atm it's not got anything connected to the top, and it's got what would have been the actuator line connected to the side? got any pics?
  14. right! got the wepr manifold fitted! had a fair few problems alone the way; - boost pipe going to the top mount is a very tight fit against the mainfold, could do to rotate the cold side of the turbo slightly but meh. all in good time, probably going front mount before long anyway. - the whole turbo sits a fair bit lower than before so the decat brace no longer lines up, so might get a new bracket made up - major disagreement as to how the wastegate actually bolted up between me and sam meant that it was bolted up the wrong way round the first time (and no, it was not me who was wrong!!!) lol
  15. mine boosted to 0.6, then after about 4000rpm it shot right up to 1.1/1.2 bar before the fuel cut had chance to kick in. standard actuator was buggered. i'd say decat it, worry about fuel cut if and when. it's not a good thing but not the end of the world.

  17. you might hit fuel cut, mine used to hit fuel cut all the time. just get a boost gauge in it and keep an eye on the boost and let of if it's creeping towards 0.85 bar (when fuel cut kicks in)
  18. depend what else you've done- standard mani? full exhaust system? intercooler? air filter relocation?
  19. personally don't believe heat wrap has much effect on whether a mani cracks or not. quality and grade of stainless, quality of welds, flange thickness, braced or not etc makes more difference if you ask me. bring on the comments saying how wrong i am!
  20. when i use my turbo timer it doesn't beep, but if i leave it to cool down with the key in and then turn it off with the key it beeps. leave my side lights on all the time haha.
  21. haha i know i am semi obsessed about not scratching my car/wheels, and when i did that last night i just sat there for about 15 mins trying not to have a mental breakdown! lol. looks a lot better now though, at some point over summer i'll get some filler on it and sand it all back and spray it again but for now it will do. literally in the process of sorting a sticker from josh by the way! gonna be reppin' uksc asap.
  22. i'm ordering a custom uksc sticker that's going across my sun strip! don't be like that! uksc is gonna have the full length of my windscreen can't wait- it's gonna look sick if it turns out the way i'm imagining it. yeah everything is getting a lick of paint atm, in the process of doing centre console and clock surround and other little interior bits the same grey as the bumpers had a bit of a boo boo last night, backed onto my drive too quick and caught the front lip on the drivers side, scraped right down to the fibre glass so in a panic/attmept to make it look semi acceptable i just c
  23. only a small update standard fpr is back on, so no more misfiring and stuff changed my rocker cover back to my freshly painted fte one; and a close up of the oh so sparkley red bits clutch kit arrived, will be fitted either when my current clutch gives up, or when the weather gets better and me and sam can be bothered. not looking forward to fitting it at all. and finally a little pic of my local jap club sticker on the rear quarter window also go the rear lip fitted! i think it looks ace! love it will be getting some pics at a local pistonheads meet tonight. i know it needs
