    ha saw a starlet exactly the same as that on the m62 on the way into hull a few months ago, got up along side and then realised it was a proper old biddy driving it. major waste lol.

    can someone please explain exactly how it works please? i understand what it is and stuff but would quite like to know the technical/mechanical side of what's involved, and how the ecu knows to limit the revs? this might sounds like a daft question to some people but any info is appreciated and i'm only asking out of curiosity lol cheers!

    not yet, but when it goes on the car it should sort itself out, got a load of g clamps to clamp it in the right position until the bonding agent sets so should be fine

    it has no gearbox in it, the wheels will fall off! lmao. need a dolly or a car trailer. i won't crash it! i'm an amazing driver! where the lock up is, it's called sunk island, just miles and miles of fields, no other cars in sight ;) i'll let you drive mine, will make yours feel all fast and amazing again haha.

    sam is insured but i'm not id be happy to be a passenger though soon as the shell is at the lock up i think sam will be keen to get the engine in and stuff, just need to get it down there :S

    picking up ali and not me? tiggght i'll pop down though and spray the splitter and stuff though if that's ok. got the fte rocker cover in primer as well so i might as well spray that too.

    i can take my centre console out tomorrow and we can have a look and see if i have those wires in there somewhere if you want. but my interior loom has been butchered too haha. can't wait to get it to lock up and get some more bits put on it

    just to let people know, the engine and box and pretty much everything else in the engine bay has been sold, along with drive shafts, boot lid, doors, seats etc.
