first ever entry. here goes nothing.........

Hey guys and girls. Does anybody actually know the driveshaft/hub nut torque setting on a ep82? I think mine are loose. When you manover to park when you app,y the brakes the pedal has slightly more travel than usual. I've jacked the front up and checked for play and there is a slight ammount. I've tightened the hub nut with my breaker bar but not gone mental on it. (in fear for breaking my premium halfrauds quality tool) Any help much appreciated.

I'm using a fse on mine. No complaints at all.
-
Yea not a bad idea. Is that at wide open throttle too? I'll be getting some pics today folks. So watch this space
-
Mine is still on the standard fuel pump. Is your fpr working properly?
-
Cheers for the comments guys and girls. Yes charl is a saint. The wideband has helped set up the fuelling and its running 10.5 at wide open throttle. Just need to see why the boost controller isn't working now, can only be a wire off. I'm looking forward to japfest 2.

Just in dvla office now with Charlotte. Fingers crossed I'll have the starlet on the road today!
-
Well not long now. I'm just waiting for midnight then I'll be driving the starlet back home. I've removed all needed things from the vitara as it is being sorn'd as of tomorrow. Then in the morning it will be a trip to dvla office. I'll be honest, I really can't wait to hve this car as my daily driver for a while. Going to take it steady for a while until I get my fpr adjusted. Hopefully gettin the roof and bonnet wrapped tomorrow to cover the unsightly paint and stone chips :/ I just can't believe the car has come on this much since January when I got the shell. Keep a look out for me at

Do you have the fte engine loom? Or are you using the original efe loom?

The wepr power up kit relocates the turbo slightly. Only slightly lower. The de cat charl has works fine. The exhaust just hangs a little lower. -

Heads are ten a penny. It doesn't get that hot so I can't see the crack getting mahoosive. The turbo won't need removing for a while I don't think any who Salmon pink ep91 needed! -
Welcome! Plenty of lads and lasses your side of the bridge

EP82 PCV to inlet Manifold bore size for hoses
Flaminsam replied to invisible's topic in Lifestyle General
The pcv to inlet mani is 10mm Id I believe. Could be 8mm. The other breather is 18mm iirc. I can check tonight for you if u need them measuring. -
Yea these are just stand passes. Its 18 quid on the gate per person.
-
No oil warning light either? Sounds like there's a plug off somewhere. Also no ecu or engine warning light? Strange :s
-
Damn! Extra 300 per month! That's sick! But at least the ep is sorted
-
Hmm what rate is your rrfpr? Is it 1:1 or 1:2?
-
Whoooop! Get in lottie. At least your new beast will be there.
-
They sell the usual stuff, steering wheels graphics etc. I'm not so sure if they sell vehicle specific stuff. I'll not be taking a lot. Maybe see about gettin a photo from driving in (if the bloke is there)
-
Just got a right bargain yesterday too. Swapped my powerflow exhaust for a japspeed system and 50quid his way. It sounds savage!
-
Whooooop! Shedlets first outing!

Hey yea it was discussed quite a lot on the topic of afr. Most people came to the conclusion that on idle it should be near 14.7 and on wide open throttle 12.2 or less was ideal. Preferably around 11-10 afr. That's what was decided any who. After a lot of research its not only afr that a tuner looks at. Its exhaust gas temp, ignition timing and alsorts. Best stick to 11-10 on full boost/wide open throttle for now.

That's annoying phil. Won't a n/a starlet seat fit for now?
