As charl said I was followed by a black Volvo saloon into a petrol station. I pulled in to blow up my tyres and the copper pulled across the back of me. Had a lil chat and turns out they are looking for a dark/black starlet reportedly DLAK'ing and almost running someone over. (Driving Like A Knob) He seemed cheerful realising I was driving sencibly. Also that I had tax insurance and mot. Basicaly just be cheerful with them and don't back chat. If you comply with them then they have no reason to be shitty with you.

This car is one hell of a piece of kit. Love it. Just the way that it has had minimal engine mods but still produces epic power figures. Good on ya

Easy way to check a leaky master/slave cyl is to put the car in gear with the engine running, while holding the clutch down and left foot braking the engine shouldn't stall after say about 2-3mins. If it does stall you have a leak. Look for where the puddle is. If no puddle chances are its the fluid leaking past the seals in the master cylinder.

Yea I can get some machine work done reletively cheap but its the rods, pistons etc that will chew up the bank balance. Adam I'll pm you later on as my inbox is full and can't delete on mobile. -

Hey guys and girls. Just picked up a low mileage 5efe with the intention of forging/rebuilding it as a turbo lump. What exactly needs doing? I know the bores are the same but what rods are required? I have heard of people having to knotch the block for con rods? Also what macine work has to be done to the flywheel? If it is going to cost the earth to do then there could be a complete engine up for grabs as I havnt stripped it down at all. Low mileage (70k) still has inlet, exhaust, distributor all attached. Any info appreciated.

Yup fitted it to My ep82 with the toad alarm I have. Quite easy really. Just so you know the lock and unlock are negative pulse. I'll have to get you the wire colours to tell you which is lock/unlock.

Standard Subaru actuators will only run 0.6 bar even when they are fully wound in. Your better off getting a boost controller.
