Engine mount bolts have pulled out of the block. its timing cover off job to see them properly. There are two or three m10x1.25 bolts holding the mount to the actual block. These were probably loose which caused them to shear or fall out. Either way I Would take the engine oit for a better look.
Bump for these, been in cars with coilovers and these will give you the same handling. Definately worth the money. The shocks are made by kyb and are very similar to the sr specials.
Here's a bit of reading for you. />http://www.burtonpower.com/tuning-guides/tuning-guide-pages/engine-breather-system.html Sorry its from a ford orientated site.
Most fob batteries are replacable. Just depends on alarm. Some fobs will need re syncing with the alarm like the cobra alarm series. Most alarms like toad or clifford have a stored memory in the fob so they shouldn't need re coding.
Just to throw this omne out there, but why not collaborate with another club? Would make it cheaper for everyone. I'm sure hou has contacts on different sites?
I agree marc. Tuned right they are a cool engine. But in stock form they are a bit of a old school engine. The lexus v8 has also been re vamped recently. The is-f for instance twin turbo v8. I guess the rover v8 has a legacy as it was widely versitile in everything from sports cars to prestige to off road.
Rover v8's are a dated engine. Technology changes and quite a lot of development has gone into modern day v8's. Good on the bloke for putting the v8 in the lil starlet though.
Due to unforseen circumstances ajep91's number 4 conrod has decided to vacate from his sump. Does anyone have a 4efte bottom end or complete engine for sale? Many thanks. Aj and sam.
