  1. There's a lot too it, I read Into it a few years ago but decided against it. There's a heap of paperwork. Roughly 2months or more on a boat etc it ends up being well over 2,000 and a whole ballache. Others may say different but I had a good hard look into and decided it wasn't for me. I picked my V up, 3 years in a garage. Was MOT'd twice, 2009,2010 and then sat in a garage in essex. Got it for absolute peanuts. There's one to be had out there, just gotta be patient!
  2. Slowly mate, hoping to have it all together in January and then I'll book a date at TuningDevelopments. One hell of a road trip that is roughly 10 hours return. Debating if I travelodge it overnight or not!
  3. Got my hands on a mild steel TD04 manifold and Decat. Not paying until next Friday, but first two parts acquired (As long as Jamie doesn't pull out... ;) ) Next up, find a decent condition turbo.
  4. This is my most successful thread to date. Bossing it.
  5. Im new to all this anyway! Feel free to correct me!
  6. First things first. Getting a manifold / downpipe. I'll piece the rest together later. Want to get the pricey bits done first!
  7. Did the wire come out the plug your plugging your new one into? Didn't fully read your question sorry lol
  8. Buy a replacment from a guy breaking. Seen a few go for £20 on Facebook and here!
  9. Lmao! That's seriously handing the GSI owner his ass on a plate. - How'd you like them apples, Mr 320bhp. I liked the red one, was different from the usual, black, silver and white!
  10. Oh man.. I feel for you! Never seen one of those before, and i really like it!
  11. Jesus.. WHY this time of the year.. If only it was January!
  12. Drove to Folkstone last month to buy my shocks and lowering springs. Got them off a guy with a black GT Turbo. There was a white V & a red V parked up with him. Basically had a mini meet chatting for an hour down in the retail area. Don't know the area who dunno where I was lol!
  13. I like that. Will definitely look into seeing if I can do the same on the inlet then! Yeah I will take my time no rush. Couple of hundred maybe less a month on it and see where it ends up! The EP3'a are light for a hatch, just a smudge over 1200kg's if your comparing to a glanza it's not comparison. But anything else of that era of the same power was heavier! They're quick, very quick. But nothing like the feeling of a turbo spooling away! I had it going silly speeds plenty of times. The main thing is you don't need to worry about reliability there bulletproof. No question about it! But
  14. Never thought of polishing. How expensive is it to go that route? I'll he aiming at 1bar which would be 220bhp? I will contemplate buying a blown engine next year and saving for forged. Can't see myself moving away from Glanza's for awhile. Sold my replica had a 250bhp civic, but always wanted a turbo'd V!
  15. Thanks mate Im debating the inlet at the moment! Maybe a crinkle black, I reckon that would look quite nice! I was thinking about the fuse box but it's odd, I quite like it.. Although again in crinkle black that would look nice also! Next plans.. Little tiny things up until end of Christmas. Like pillar pods, maybe a splash of paint here and there, and probably a oil pressure gauge. Or a temperature, unsure which is best. January is when I'll be buying my TD04 parts an ill be mapping it as early as i can afford next year!
  16. Thanks mate! Slowly but surely! (Not slowely in the first 3 weeks LOL) As Christmas comes mods will slow, will be little odds and sods! Im from East Sussex, what about you?
  17. In the boot, there is a panel on the right, open it and it's secured there. It's hard to pull out!

Jesus... Would sell the Alloys without the 888's? Pointless to most here as there expensive as fook and we won't use them on the roads...
