  1. hmmm.. Pics of turbo kit?
  2. Managed to navigate the webby in the end. Didn't see the options on the right.. They dont have pictures, but they have an offer for the following; TD04/TD05 m/s Ram Style manifold(equal length)/downpipe --$545usd+pp fees shipped (regular retail $725) - £350 give or take... or; TD04/TD05 m/s Ram Style ext.gate manifold(equal length)/downpipe/FREE screamer pipe--$560usd shipped+pp fees ( regular retail $800) or; TD04/TD05 m/s SR-series manifold/downpipe --$495usd shipped+pp fees (regular retail $665) Which is the better kit?
  3. There website is showing me prices unless im being a B-end.
  4. I was thinking of the Zicco Externally gated kit. Never heard a screamer tbh.. Will be new to be.. Was £470 for the mani, and downpipe. Are WEPR any better or any cheaper etc?
  5. This TD04 business will be costly.. It better be worth it!
  6. Hmm, I want to do it properly. So i guess TD04 will be delayed by a month or so. eBay wastegate with TIAL spring? Opinion?
  7. What hassle is involved of internal then? I just want to weigh up both sides. Looked @ external wastegates. MEGA bucks. Didn't i read somewhere people use the £60 eBay TIAL knockoffs with geniune TIAL springs and they work ok? Would this be an option to save some money or will this be laughed at and frowned upon?
  8. You failed to mention the big 50p-£2 sized dent in the passenger wing!
  9. I noticed the costs involved will be higher with the wastegate and manifold being different. I dont even know if the actuator is for the CT9!? If it is, what's the rough price i could sell it on for do you know? It's brand new and boxed with all its bits. Can raise some funds towards TD04 i guess!
  10. Basically starting to buy all my items for TD04 piece by piece as of this Friday. The manifold is the first thing i'll be buying. I plan on running a TD04 @ 1bar. 1.1bar at a PUSH but i dont see me doing it and worrying about reliability everytime i drive it. I can't decide between internal and external wastegate. I already have a HKS adjustable actuator brand new which is unfitted. So i could use that on the TD04 i presume? Can someone with knowledge enlighten me the pro's and cons. I've done a google search and most of the blurb is to do with hi and low boost levels, as to weather they go internal or external. Thanks? I just confused myself trying to work out what route to go!
  11. I attempted to race a Honda last week, then i remembered how pony the 4E-FTE bottom end is.. So i stopped.
  12. After a turb for my new setup im piecing together. Before i pay someone else on eBay, i thought i'd give someone here a chance to offload a spare they may have! Thanks
  13. Is the HKS SSQV adjustable? Can you pm me some more pics of it as i may be interested
  14. Cheers Phil, I still dislike Royal Mail. When i took a 2metre bubble wrapped pipe in.. I got a dodgey look. sliding it threw there window wasn't happening....
  15. So this weekend i finally decided to change the brake pads. There was naffed from when i bought the car in October. I just hadn't got around to buying the pads. Bought them eventually a few weeks ago, an i just haven't pulled my finger out. But, it was blue skies yesterday morning and after loading my brain with YouTube "How to's.." i finally decided i'll give it a go. I've never wanted to change brake pads before or discs for that matter mainly because it's safety and i wouldn't want to trust myself with that in my own hands. But within the last year, i've been doing more and more to the car so finally decided i'll swallow my nervousness and do it. I couldn't believe how easy it was, and why i've never done it before! I paid £150 to change 4x discs, 4x Pads and 4x braided hoses to be installed on my civic 6 months ago, i could've done it all myself within 3 hours at a push! Took me only an hour and a half to; Change pads Paint Calipers Here's a few snaps i took nothing that interesting..Decided to go for a Aque Blue colour, tried to match my silicone hoses but it's a lot more bright, never the less i still like it. Being a lazy and useless bastard with a brush, i roped the Mrs's into it as they're good with painting there nails and what not, managed to swing her by the promise of a meal out if she helped me! - (It worked) Pretty happy with the results, sets off the black alloys better now. I'll eventually get some snaps of how the cars looking soon, i just haven't bothered!
  16. That's an aftermarket ECU. It's most likely been setup on a rolling road for more BHP. If the mapping has been done right the FCD is fine. But, as you don't know what's been dome it's difficult.. I was trying to bid on a fcon on eBay there good stuff from reading into them. Just a little older generation.
  17. I was gob smacked! I've watched boxing since I was 10 and Froch without doubt has the hardest chin in boxing. Groves prooved he could KO people, but never at a world title level, and he proved he can hit hard with the first knockdown for Froch. That's the second time Froch has EVER taken in 10 count which is impressive. But it wasn't the best knockdown, Froch was caught cold and early. But you cant take it away from Groves. He said he would rock him in the first 3, but I guess he never thought he would knock him over! The ref ending it was in my eyes a GOOD decision, you could see groves took a right hook and bounces onto the ropes, then took 3 in quick succession, I think 10 seconds later Groves would of been on the floor, he was without doubt in trouble and he even admitted it in the interview. All i can say is I can't wait for the rematch. Froch won't underestimate him this time! But c'mon what a brawl!!
  18. Is this a serious one? There's only one winner!
  19. How so cheap!! Ps. Leave me sales feedback! I have a thread already
  20. Phil, If you book a courier from his to my work. I'll then send jt on to you. An option for you.
  21. You have to package everything up with PaisleyFreight used them for 2 years without a hitch!
  22. Yeah potentially would be a better option!
  23. There's a lot too it, I read Into it a few years ago but decided against it. There's a heap of paperwork. Roughly 2months or more on a boat etc it ends up being well over 2,000 and a whole ballache. Others may say different but I had a good hard look into and decided it wasn't for me. I picked my V up, 3 years in a garage. Was MOT'd twice, 2009,2010 and then sat in a garage in essex. Got it for absolute peanuts. There's one to be had out there, just gotta be patient!
  24. Slowly mate, hoping to have it all together in January and then I'll book a date at TuningDevelopments. One hell of a road trip that is roughly 10 hours return. Debating if I travelodge it overnight or not!
