  1. Take the bulb out.
  2. Browner used to own that blue one, do a bit of digging in the Glanza build thread section, theres loads of pics of it in there
  3. Ahh right, well i'll see whats about for a few days before buying anything unless theres a good deal. Let me know if you do decide to sell though
  4. Welcome to UKSO, this car was in my area (Central Scotland) before you owned it i think ?
  5. Sound man, let me know what price you have in mind, had a few PMs so far too. Thanks
  6. Gonna try and avoid CJ ones for now thanks Ben. Any more info Patman ? Price, condition, age, make etc. ? Cheers
  7. I would actually end up in a wheelchair if i got let loose with that lol.
  8. Ohh yeah forgot you had some, green isnt my preferred choice tbh, but if nothing else shows up a'll give you a shout
  9. Fact is selling on here is better in EVERY way than selling on ebay.
  10. Expect a knock on your door from a couple of angry RSPCA inspectors lol. This has went slightly off track now haha.
  11. Yeah a lot of the batteries have been changed in starlets to the bigger terminals. Any small battery from a yaris or micra or something will fit straight in. But if you have the wee terminals then an I10 battery is what you want.
  12. A small woodland creature normally does the trick...
  13. If you are replacing the OEM battery get a Hyundai I10 battery but the motor factor version, think its a type 53. It uses the small jap terminals.
  14. Its a good feeling haha, mind and get some windscreen wipers for the inside, incase you get too excited andcan no longer control yourself.
  15. I ran pretty much that setup for a while, was decent, you'll love it
  16. If you sell it all on ebay you'll get pumped in fees etc. Pay 2 quid on here and sell the lot to forum members who'll put it to good use. The 2 quid charge is to keep the club running, no one person is keeping your money lol, it all goes back into the club so we can have great stands at Japfest etc. Some forums charge 20 odd quid just to sign up haha.
  17. I paid someone to do it for me lol, theres no waybi was going to attempt it myself haha. The whole conversion is quite easy if you know yoir way about starlets.
  18. Looking for a full set of aftermarket ignition leads for an FTE engine, must be in full working condition. Need these by the weekend. Cheers
  19. Glad this is being saved, its been up on ebay for absolutely ages lol, nice to see a MK1 aswell. That colour above looks like Toyota 185 which was only found on the MK1s.
  20. Pahaha, if i was doing anything it would be RWD, that vid of silver 85 was impressive, 86 rear axle on it mind.
  21. Nice one man, glad you bought it, was wasted when you phoned me up lol. Fire it in the GT shell aye ?
  22. Sounds like a N/a engine Ryan.
  23. FTEs are chocolate haha, let us know how you get on with this
  24. Ahh nice one, i'm using a 100ps one too. I doubt there are very many decent FTEs left, and certainly hardly any for sale, turbo'ing FEs is where its at haha
  25. I'm doing the exact same thing bud until i get a forged engine next year, i'm using a JDM N/a lump as thats what i had to hand. You just need to fire a few FTE parts on it, i guess youve got them on your old engine ? A knock sensor screws right in as theres a hole tapped. You need a FTE dizzy & leads FTE Ignitor & coil FTE MAP sensor FTE Inlet & TB FTE thermo housing FTE PAS pump, brackets & hose FTE fuel rail Maybe more but canny mind atm. You've already said the rest of the stuff, FTE grey injectors will be fine for 0.8 bar on TDO4, 330s wouldn't hurt i suppose if fueling is setup right Comp ratio is 9.6 - 1 as opposed to 8.2 - 1 on a FTE, that 1.9mm gasket should bring it down a wee bit though Any chance of a link to Jay's thread ?
