Yeah it would be a pain in the hole. I'll get a proper immobiliser wired in when i manage to find a donor Glanza. Also i took a pic of the horrible wee carat, i'll upload it the now. The front is defo getting changed, i canny stand it haha !!

Not a bush but having new ball joints is a good place to start, takes the floaty feeling out the steering. Fire, hammer & chisel will get most of them out. Or a press if you have one to hand. Also the use of a bench vice. For the bushes i mean ^^ -
Right so i'm looking to buy a donor Glanza V to convert a N/a i recently bought. It has to be a manual V, preferably in Scotland but not a major issue if its not. Anything considered, rear end damage or off the road etc. Would need it to be mostly complete and a running car is preferred. Bodywork doesn't have to be mint either. Standard or lightly modded, and idealy white but any colour considered. Let me know please

Its pointless, why bother ?? Lol, kidding man. It has actually been done, it was a company that done it iirc. It got swapped into a yellow Glanza. When equipped with a turbo the B series is a weapon.

Shaun, if its the decat you bought off me at Japfest you mean then i would be shocked if anyone tried to charge you anymore than 10-15 quid tops. It has a hairline crack and would take all of 5 mins to repair. Fact.

Mine is a UK 2.5 N/a and its an auto but its sooo relaxing for a daily, all the good stuff, full leather, cruise control, heated seats etc. It got traded in at my work so i checked it over on my ramp before i bought it, its 100%. The 2L twin turbos would just swallow fuel for fun.

The engine thats in it is a bit knocky so i wont be putting a turbo on it, cant be having another one go on me lol. He wouldn't go any less than 350, like wasnt moving at all. Said he had lots of interest or some shit. Plus he was quite hamilton so yeah. Its also got some weird immobiliser thing where you have to insert a usb type thing into a slot near where the fog button is, anyone heard of this before ? Guessing aftermarket.

Honestly Paul is a shiter of a wee thing, theres absolutely nothing to gain from breaking it either. Like, its all shit and the only thing i'll be able to shift is the inlet, same as the Glanza S inlet.

Its a fair spec but i canny wait to rip it apart, its a horrible example now Had 25k on the clocks when imported according to the history. The front is gash tbh, it looks like someone smacked it in the face lol, it resembles a ford scorpio.

I had one of these with the same engine, was a great laugh haha. Lots of room in the with the rear seats folded down lol. GLWS Lew.

Am in two minds weather to keep the front or not, the Carat rear end is staying though Yes Charlie i'll be prob be needing a few parts no doubt. Am gonna try again and phone this dude that stays near me, hes got a rear ended V and i really could be doing with the whole thing. Anyway the Carat has a Gen3 4EFE with the coilpack and the different manifolds. Also has AC and ABS, electric windows and mirrors. Has some weird chrome shit aswell haha.

The vac lines to the PAS rack are quite useless anyway, well they have a small purpose but never mind that. Take the vacs off the rack and make a loop for the ports. And do the same with the lines up top next to the inlet, loop the ports so none go to the rack just to see if it goes away. Also is the inlet mani, or vac rail cracked at all, even the tiniest hairline crack can cause hunting. Vac leak causes hunting, not constant high idle -
Just went and bought this lol. No pics yet, but its scuffed to fuck and the paint has turned to matte haha. I'll get a progress thread up soon i guess, now just need to get hunting for a half decent Glanza donor !!
