    Defo sounds like headgasket failure. The head could now be cooked and warped beyond repair, will require sending off to a machine shop for investigation and at least a skim. Thats why i have my fan wired to a constant 12V on ignition.

    Your not wrong lol, currently buying shit to fix them leaks though. Although, what a fucking mission it is to get the driveshafts out when the car is on the deck. Last time i dropped the box had to leave the fuckers in lol.

    Bang them on and see how it drives, if it pulls or if you get some mad tyre wear then get alignment set up. Starlets do normally scrape when lowered without an adjustable panhard rod. Few people dont run them and get no troubles. You should fit them yourself, incredibly easy to do. Save cash man.

    Timed up correctly ? And ignition timing too, get someone to move the dizzy side to side whilst you crank it. Swap the MAP sensor and see if it makes a difference. Tried to do a compression test ?

    Fire them on, advise getting wheel alignment set up though on a decent machine in a reputable garage, for modified cars and such. Do you have an adjustable panhard rod too ? Hang fire until you get one if you dont already

    If i did run lean it could melt the cat yeah, and thered be nothing there to convert the gasses. Bit odd how it just passed emissions test though. A car will normally run rich when the EML light comes on though, just as a sorta safety device. Did the garage clear the fault code and did the EML light come back on ?

    And thats ^^ the very thing to watch out for, most of the ebay/gumtree ads spec lists are total bullshit, bhp figures double what they are, made up mods etc.

    I mind they used to go for about 6 grand lol. You'll get a Glanza for 2 grand, but bear in mind theyre old now might take a bit of work to get it up to scratch again.

    Thats about the going rate man, add a few quid for a modified car. I do a couple of wheel alignments each day and it takes time to set up the machines and put all the kit on the car. Then get it all perfect, + time to check it on the roads.
