4age, 3zzge and 3sgte engines have all been put in starlets before. Expect custom / fabrication work for each swap, also splicing looms etc. Someone needs to man up and put a 2jzgte in their boot though haha.

Called up these breakers about the blitz p&p hoping it was for a GT but its for a Glanza. They want 360 quid i think he said. If its all well, good and working then its a bargain, even if it is funding the starlet killers regime... Well apparently they have all the correct bulbs, i just sold a pair of quadlamp headlight bulbs for mega cheap, thought i wouldn't need them. I have a new loom anyway, pretty sure its a MK3 loom so should plug right up. And the shell is a MK3 so should bolt straight in too so happy days. Cheers though bud.

Thought they might have been overpriced because i saw a nsf quadlight on its own on here for 25 quid. Yeah found them on ebay, its a breaker who breaks a lot of nice starlets sadly. Its not the ones with 70 post though.

I've found some at 170 quid posted, is that a good price folks ? It includes, quadlights, covers, brackets, bulbs and an uncut grill with badge. All in silver.

Sad to see this kinda thread dude. Its got the potential to be a weapon of a car. But if you sell it as a whole, the buyer would most likely sell parts off it and profit off your project... I might take a couple things if you decide to split parts off it.

Yeah, especially in cars, i'll stick to my wee basic starlet thanks very much haha. Got to think though, if the modern auto technology was pumped into a starlet it would be a totally different machine. But i do prefer the kinda old school feel to them, no interference from a computer haha.

Yeah... they do, heads fried this week haha, balls. My college lecturer was talking about some new engine that has no cams, and one where the cams werent drivin by the crank, instead by an electric motor... Then he was banging on about the ecoboosts and how good they were..

The new ford 3 cyl 1L ecoboost engine has no cams. The valves open electronicaly. Pretty efficient design, makes 125 bhp.
