    Sad to see this kinda thread dude. Its got the potential to be a weapon of a car. But if you sell it as a whole, the buyer would most likely sell parts off it and profit off your project... I might take a couple things if you decide to split parts off it.

    Yeah, especially in cars, i'll stick to my wee basic starlet thanks very much haha. Got to think though, if the modern auto technology was pumped into a starlet it would be a totally different machine. But i do prefer the kinda old school feel to them, no interference from a computer haha.

    Yeah... they do, heads fried this week haha, balls. My college lecturer was talking about some new engine that has no cams, and one where the cams werent drivin by the crank, instead by an electric motor... Then he was banging on about the ecoboosts and how good they were..

    The new ford 3 cyl 1L ecoboost engine has no cams. The valves open electronicaly. Pretty efficient design, makes 125 bhp.

    Does the ZEP stuff come up often Matt ? Forgot to say, that stuff ^ for square lights. Also a ZEP lip for a MK1 bumper. Longshots, but worth a try, its amazing the stuff you pull out of the jap autions. Cheers, Dan.

    Im gonna make clear ones for my GT, amber corners dont look right on silver ones. They look good on most colour Glanzas though.

    I saw that ad. Think if you could get it for below 1500 if would be alright. Mk1s are pretty rare these days too. More likely the window motors are fucked rather than the switch being inop. Looks like the OS of the bumper has been cut for a front exit exhaust at some stage which is a shame. It would look good after a wee tidy up.

    There is a pinned topic on P&P ECUs with good info, technical discussions, electronics. Cant link on my phone though. Its really personal preference which one you choose. They were all origionally mapped on cars with unknown setups and spec lists so its down to the induvidual ECU on how it performs
