    Yes a MK1 boot will fit a MK3 I'm doing the exact same thing, got a MK1 boot and glow panel sitting here. Just needs sprayed and fitted. Only thing i haven't checked is if it plugs in or not.

    Pick up a second hand FTE, drop it in, get it up and running then forge the other one in the meantime. Sorted.

    I've just bought a MK1 front bumper + lip too. It does look like it will sit pretty high. Id love the MK1 specific livesports lip but they are over 300 quid delivered on rhd japan.
