  1. Think Paisley freight have dropped a few car related services from their site recently.
  2. Im sure the genuine toyota one is bloody dear. And it seems no cunt can take one off an engine without chipping the fuck outta it!
  3. May aswell run a stock clutch and a set of steelies and 14" wan-kin ditchfinders if we're gonna stretch every component to 100% Not saying the stock ignition system isnt up to the job of running 370 or whatever the fuck bhp, i know its been done before, its just better to mod ahead imo and get the problems out the way before they arise. Ie change to COP before you start blowing out the spark on the dyno.. Its pretty much a hypothetical thread anyway who gives a fuck
  4. Youre best staying with the standard FTE one, its got a harmonic balancer in it.
  5. Sounds like a challenge haha. But yeah im with you on that it could be done for 7k starting from a standardish V. And it would nearly all have to be basic used parts. Youd end up with a pretty shit starlet though which could only go fast in straight lines, and would spin a lot of power away before even setting off. Youd also be at the limit of the stock ignition setup, and your gonna want a standalone to get the best out of it. Knock up a list it all adds up
  6. Be hard pushed to find a Glanza under 80k, i know theres gotta be a few out there but the early Glanzas are 19 year old now. Johns one above is already forged and is £7k, whatever the mileage on the chassis is basically irrelevant because going by the pics it looks new underneath! Also with it being rebuilt with forged parts the engine mileage effectively gets reset to zero.
  7. Have a custom downpipe / side exit made up for it
  8. Dont put paste before the turbo or it will probably fuck it. Genuine Toyota or (Subaru if TD04) gaskets are good enough not to need paste anyway.
  9. I give zero fucks and keep breaking engines in my starlets The TD fprs look suspiciously like the dog shit ebay ones
  10. Haha fair enough! You'll be able to pick up a used sytec one for 40quid or something. The fprs on ebay are just cheap chinese dog shit and dont actually adjust fuck all they get stuck at 4bar so avoid them anyway
  11. Just checked that out! Lineup for that looks really good. Few guys from the Anjunabeats label there Bit of a trek down for me though haha. I go to Coloursfest and EH1 every year which are a bit more local
  12. Either that or a bit of ghetto tuning depending on how much you dont give a fuck if you kill it!!
  13. Its torque which kills clutchs, it may well be fine but will be best to upgrage to a paddle sooner rather than later. Depends on your driving style how long it will last, id kill it in half an hour lol. Yeah but we arent all as hardcore as you Shaun! I do agree, may aswell push it after spending out on forging! Just reckon 1.4bar is about the top end of a standard TD04 though. Personally id choose a BB VF turbo on a forged build, no where near the price of a Garrett, yet most will do 300bhp+ and still spool fairly quick But thats a whole other topic
  14. Pretty sure its gonna be good haha! Good stuff! Yeah its not hugely swayed towards dnb really is it.. Its Above & Beyond and Armin Van Buuren im looking forward to seeing the most, few trance classics and i'll spunk myself.
  15. Lots of injectors in here if this link works. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/performancefuelinjection/Toyota-Injectors-/_i.html?_fsub=6213047014 For 1.4bar TD04 the 480cc should be about right i think, and that shouldnt be running them at their max either.
  16. Id run a 1bar spring for daily use, and wack it up with your greddy ebc to say 1.4bar for blasting around.
  17. Im friday to monday Yeah me too, i havent been down before.
  18. Injectors because they are different and also ive heard the fuel pressure regulator is slightly different so swap that too. Its attached to the fuel rail so just transfer the lot as one.
  19. Depending how long you were gonna keep it off road, be a good idea to put it on axle stands to preserve the tyres. Could also take the brakes off so they dont corrode and sieze. Most starlets leak water into the boot so id fire a car cover over it if you have one. Stop it getting mouldy inside.
  20. To answer your question yes a UK 4EFE will fit in a Glanza S and run fine. Just make sure you use the S fueling setup. 4EFEs can be picked up for like 50 quid and swapped in a few hours. Or buy the special tool and do the stem seals with the head on.
