Like the title haha, get strut braces, rear anti roll bar, some light alloys and good tyres. Then a few poly bushes. It should handle pretty well then, not a great deal of power chasing to be done with the N/a really, without spending a few quid.

Scissor jacks are solid.. The N/a wont be done for a few weeks by the time i get the rest of the parts and that. You'll love this... gonna get Pauls Corolla off him i think haha.

HT leads do wear out over time, wouldnt hurt to change them for all they cost.

Managed to find a bit of time to get some stuff done on this N/a GT. GT brakes are on Clutch is bled PAS fluid in Radiator on and system bled Set of 14" steelies on for now Ignition timing set Standard N/a exhaust mani is off Hopefully my front brake flexi hoses are on the way, ive secured a Sera 4-2-1 exhaust mani so within the next while i'll have that. Then nip over to see Dale for an exhaust and a couple other bits. Since it is running and the clutch is bled.... i took it out a quick drive up and down the street haha, with no brakes, a very poor handbrake, no exhaust whatsoever not even

Keeping it in 4wd is gonna be better for drag racing. My 85 gets off the line pretty well. Plus if you start putting all the power to the back you will snap the halfshafts. And there is not much weight at the back of a starlet to push the tyres to the tarmac.

Its an ignition cut 2step thing, dont even think starlets can run it unless they are COP converted.

Never ment the engine would shoot a rod directly from flat shifting. But start wiring in antilag to a standard lump and it wont last long, FTEs are chocolate.

What did you go for in the end Colin? Im needing a new set of pullers aswell.

Doubt it would be of any real use, be fun to pop flames at zebra crossings but thats about it haha. Flat shifting with a starlet box is gonna kill it within 5mins, and its a dead cert a rod will shoot out the block aswell.
