Pay depends what level theyre at, just like anthing else, the majority of my work is diagnostics, fix half the cars i work on using a computer. Its not all oil over the face spanner rolling about the deck wrestling a gearbox these days sadly, because thats the best part

Apprenticeships are shocking wage, you'll be on min wage for atleast 1 year, and probably not much more for the next 2 or 3 years after that. What jobs have you done previously?

Defo haha glad i had a back up plan. Nah sadly not, we used to be allowed after work but folk started ripping the pish bringing in mates cars and that got a bit out of hand so they put a stop to that. Gonna start getting it stripped down soon, will start by taking the head off and go from there

Yeah if i can find a decent FTE i'll put that in and eventually forge this Gen1 FE if its in not too fucked up! Aye thats why i got this Lexus for a back up car because i knew this was gonna go bang sooner or later haha

Im not sure yet, gonna have to strip it down and see how bad it is. If its too fucked i'll get a FTE and fire that in. Got my GS300 on the road now so will just dodge about in that for the time being

Was out for a drive yesterday and managed to blow my engine Will need to strip it down and see whats all fucked, headgasket has defo went and i reckon the ringlands have shat it aswell, probably spun a few bearings too. Held up not bad considering it was a FE with the standard headgasket lol.

For the external wastegate with no electronic boost controller just put a vacuum from the nipple on the turbo compressor housing to the bottom port on the wastegate, leave the top port to vent to atmosphere. For the wideband you need the ecu pinout of your car, GT or Glanza, and the diagram for the aem which should be online.

If you are going for rainsports they look quite chunky in a 50 profile so maybe 45 would be best. I wouldnt bother with parada spec 2s, lot of people on here have ran them and said they are worse than sketchy in the wet.

Think i'll just stick to using the Hofmann alignmer at work, accurate to a 60th of a degree, i use it in degrees and minuites.. 0'00° No strings attatched
