anyone able to help me here ive recently finished swapping the 4efe into the ep80 im having a couple of wiring issues ive no front wipers working now ive fitted another wiper motor and still no joy is there anywhere else I can check to find out what's going on. I forgot to bring my power tester with me to check if there was any power at the plug which I'll be doing tomorrow is there a relay anywhere for the wipers ive checked all fuses in engine bay fuse box and cabin all fuses are fine

as above someone told me I could covert my distributor with built in coil to a coil with external coil reason im wanting to do this I bought a starlet for spares and theres an issue with the distributor no spark basically I wanna try get the engine running so I can sell it the car is for spares so wont be staying like it just to get engine running

Right so small up date car is running engine is in need to fit the rad in and plum water lines and fit gearlinkage clips and make up an exhaust Then move onto swapping the interiors from the donor car into the white one.. While i eas free i took the gt bonnet off and fittrd my white ep80 bonnet back on looks much better imo and more standard which im wanting to do

use a turbo spacer not the automatic one

when the grill is in you can really see the difference I still have my white ep80 bonnet I might throw on for a more stealthy look tbh

seatbelts are free engine straps haha it sits over them a bit as the gt has a curved front end and the ep80 has a fairly flat front end

right time for an update got some time today to get engine in and wired up and got it to run sounds good need to sort out the shoddy exhaust system and make it look better but its getting there also fitted new timing belt and the new crank pulley and resealed the sump few small jobs to do in engine bay but getting there now few pictures of whats happened so far excuse its sorry state has a 40mm spring on p/s side and has been outside a good few months exhaust needs serious modifying haha will have a fair tilt to it and left like this for the night

right not a great update but something to ad to the list picked up my brand new crank pulley so tomorrow engine is going in still have lots to get need a gt distributor and king lead also need to make an exhaust system for it have a mid section so need to make a back box up for it and some hangers will stick lots of pics up of the progress aswell

fancy a spin to Ireland for mine will do a good deal on it its on a set of white wolfrace ocatanes at the minute cleanest one ive come across heap of new parts fitted and serviced still nct'd (mot) till next year if ya want spec list pm me

bit of a late reply mate but I found them decals and the part numbers for them if ya still want to get them

will be interesting the engine will be going turbo at some stage td04 or bigger and more ridiculous,,,,that's what ive been building my thoughts about a car that's like that and same stance believe me it looks good in pics but up close its fairly rough starlet and is only fit for breaking now

Small update picked up a new crank pulley as mine was damaged so let the build comence hopefully have it all built up monday and back in the car and then start on making up an exhaust system for it then onto tidying the bodywork up and paint the bonnet and add sone goodies

Said id stick a build thread up for this picked this up about 2 weeks ago for small money have wanted another ep80 for ages and seeing as the glanza is a daily and don't want to mess with it this was ideal car started life as a bog standard ep80 and then then the lad before me that owned it went about turning it into a gt rep and lost interest I picked it up and took all the gt kit off as ive had a gt rep and want something different. car was repainted about 6 months ago so looks fresh pictures do it no justice its been lying up under tress for ages have all the remains of the gt kit off

as above need one of these I damaged my one and a small piece of the lip at the back broke taking it off if anyone has one its the whole pulley in the pic I need

get your self a lend of a good hoover with an extension piece pop the vents pop out and stuff the hoover down them should suck up a good bit of the crap stuck there if you can leave the blowers on full blast cold will do to push any crap nearer the hoover

ive a standard one here had it on my glanza missing the little circlip though

some difference from before looking forward to seeing more updates on this

bump need these soon cars having lower part of doors painted and want to get these fitted

have a look under the cover if the wiring is even there for sensor an sr is fairly well specced for a standard enough starlet that looks like the genuine Toyota 2 button key ive 3 keys one like that one with 2 buttons no led and one with the trunk button aswell
