if it has the sensor located above the mirror it has the option for a remote fob or a key with the unlock/lock buttons most glanzas have this feature as for the uk models I don't know unless a good specced one like a gls or similar to be programmed I do know some corollas came with an optional central locks unit and fob im sure someone posted up there car had one and they didn't know what the box was

as you say its up to him which ever advice he chooses to use im not a genius at wiring I stick to the simple way ive done it beforehand im not saying I don't know anything about wiring but when I comes to swapping wires and adding bits im a bit baffled that's all some people are a bit more gifted when it comes to wiring and can make the unusual happen
-
sorry no need to jump down my throat about it I didn't realise the plugs were the same but I still think the wiring is going to be tricky part for the op for handiness it would be just as easy for him to chuck a glanza wiring loom in and a dash loom job done im not great with wiring my self

ive all 3 done and they are very solid but I will be swapping out my drivers side and gear box one for standard mounts in the future my cars a daily and I find them ok just first thing in morning warming car up sitting in the car rattles my head haha
-
ive them fitted to mine at first they are very stiff everything inside shakes and rattles but as you drive for a while they start to fell much better and you get used to them but I will say this when there fitted you will never have to look at the engine bushes again
-
Did ya get a flare yet think there's one in my car
-
I just made the one cut and the steel outer sleeve moved up and I ward bush fell out then
-
Yeah something to do with break pedal I did here about that before when converting from auto to manual think its something to do with ecu pins Basically got all the manual stuff gearbox cables slave cylinder on bulk head and gear box You will need to drain the bottom of rad as the auto box uses the rad to cool the auto fluid AFAIK
-
Get a junior hacksaw put blade through mount cut the steel band around bush get a good chisel and near the edge where you cut try tap the corners up so the bush becomes loose and tap the center bushes should fall out
-

you can even open them by making a deep hook slide it down between glass and window trim turn it so the hook goes up under the glass try to push up the door pin
