welcome along -
It sound more of a headache but it aint really I've been looking at universal kits and the seem a lot easier to make work as they use the existing manual winder but the setup clips onto the original winder that the winder handle goes on so these might be the handiest option for me I can the use the gt door cards as the pocket covers the old winder hole up I really didn't want to go pulling the loom out as ive did this before and was a nightmare getting it all back together remembering where every last nut and bolt go im not too bad at electrics so wiring this kit in will be handy enough
-
haha I was wanting to get rid of windy windows and fit electric ones so I can use gt door cards,, well what way do I go about making a wiring loom as my car doesn't have the plugs or any wiring for any sort of electric no my loom has no spare/extra plugs or holes in the doors for any type of electric window conversion my car is a starlet 12v 2e-e engine I can get full doors with looms but I have nothing to connect it to from the doors
-
as above looking to do this did it with my ep90 and want to fit them into the ep80 don't want to go sticking another complete loom in out of a jap starlet
-
how much extra to have them posted over cheers

do you still have the sensor that was fitted behind the battery in a pipe coming from bulkhead to front of car looks like this
-
leave it idling don't give it any revs and get a fan fitted once the fan has cut in its a sure sign there's no air in the system that's how I always bled them
-
welcome along
-
hmmm strange why rad would be hot top and cold bottom when you have hot heaters ,,how are you bleeding the system I usually leave the rad cap off till the fan kicks in and out make sure all air is forced out of system and top up if required
-
lol had it right just the wrong way round stat is right temp for these cant see why it wont work whats happening when you have it fitted and have the car running these do take ages to warm up and stat open and fan start working
-
anymore progress on this little project ,,,if ya don't mind me asking how did ya get the electric windows working did these not come with winedy windows
-
what's the operating temp of the new stat it should be on the lip in the middle ie.. 68.c or something
