As you can see in the pic below there is a water way in the inlet of the cylinder head that is leaking. The gasket only covers a bit of it so when the manifold is bolted up it doesn't sit true. Anyone ever had this issue? Any ideas on how to resolve it? (The squarish hole with water leaking out)

Am I right in thinking a 82 cage fits in a 91?

Seen this car at crail a few times. Nice motor! Glwts.

Still for sale?

Mine should be done in the next couple of months too. Otherwise can appear in the rav 4! haha

Ep82 gt breaking, 4efe engine 4efte pistons, block and head ect
Jordk replied to Anderj26's topic in Breaker's Yard
Would you sell the 4efte as a whole? (for repairs) Also do you have the loom? -
Might have if you're still needing mate. Will check for you.

Get your intercooler pipework sorted mate. It's pretty shocking from what I seen! Will make a huge difference not having the silicone sitting on the exhaust mani!

Rav 4 is what I've been recommended by rbz. I'm actually an engineer by trade but I'm looking for something a bit more 'oem look'. I did have a universal cable fitted but would rather something that's a better fit.
-
What throttle cable is best fit for a Zisco inlet mani? The stock one is about 1-2" too short.

Best price delivered for the wheels and TRD Shifter?

Was that the hard line cut at the fuel tank end then adapt it there?
-
So if I was to increase the size of the return line for safest/optimum results? Wouldn't this require me running an an6 line all the way back to the tank? Any other methods you might recommend?
-
Not sure what to think tbh cant see why it's not worth a shot!
-
Yeah dude that's the exact site I've been looking at, as going to get a aeromotive fpr too. The return line should be around 6.4mm and the AN6 hose measures around 8mm thus is theory the return would create a choke point/pressure area which could cause a few issues. Or so I'd think?

I'm looking into getting fittings and hose for my Zisco fuel rail. I already have the supplied hose and fitting from Rail-Filter. I'm now left with an AN10 hole in the rail. Obviously it'll need to be reduced to whatever size to then be taken from the FPR and then to the return. I was looking at changing all the hoses to braided ones but that leaves me with the return hose (hard pipe) what's best to do with that?

What an fittings shall I use for my rfpr inlet and return
Jordk replied to jellybaby's topic in Ignition & Fueling
I'm having a similar issue but think it will require changing the whole set up. The rail is AN10 but you'd need to reduce it to an6 i'd think. -
The silicone section to the sump but all sorted now! I think that's the right sensor mate. Can't remember what it looks like I removed it ages ago and misplaced it :/ Did that come out of the inlet mani?

Jordk's 1A0 Glanza V (Rebuild)Progress HUGE UPDATE
Jordk replied to Jordk's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
About time I updated this as there's been ALOT of work done! Well after having the car completely stripped I cleaned all the interior etc. The dash board and other trim was sent away to get flocked and came back looking rather tasty Wasn't long until the whole lot was fitted Also acquired a lovely Bride seat from Idrees and this was given a good clean and I stitched up a few burst seams and sits all pretty in the drivers side. (better pics are needed!) Also had a friend re trim the door cards After considering wether or not to go for braces or a cage my wallet decided for me at the time and went for braces. A Zisco 6 point to be precise. All fitted after hours of shouting and screaming at it... Think the rear could do with being carpeted but have more important things to think about. Like the engine! As in the previous posts I have Hawwys old forged engine. Also have the TRD diff gearbox from my no longer daily drive starlet previously imaged (swapped for a Pulsar. Regretted that almost immediately its shit). All ancillaries given a clean and paint. New belts etc fitted. All brand new Roose Motorsport silicone hoses fitted everywhere. Nice subtle Black. Also did I mention I got some poly mounts and a clear belt cover too Then on to the clutch and flywheel. Toda lightened flywheel and an ACT Clutch All fitted A few more Zisco goodies I decided to treat myself to! Not awfully keen on some of the welding on the manifold but if it works Im happy! Also the fuel rail bore is massive!! AN-10! And my catch can from Dean at RW Developments After a long time thinking about turbo set ups. I always longed for a Race-Tech GT28 set up but at the time was out of my budget. Fortunately for me 'Blitz' put his up for sale for a price I couldn't refuse! Absolute work of art. Heres a test fit to the engine We thought that it might be possible that it would fit in the bay with the turbo fitted. We were wrong. Heres some of it before we realised this. After a few cuts and bruises she was in! (and turbo refitted...) Dat screamer tho... Now just to work out these cheap ass AN fittings I bought. Think I got the wrong ones for the hose... Also plugged most of it in apart from vacuums and inlet stuff as awaiting gaskets etc. Have Emanage Ultimate as well for it but that'll get fitted etc when its getting mapped! All thats really left to get is; Brakes (deposit paid) Bumper, skirts etc New FPR and braided lines Rear caliper refurb Rear ARB and panhard rod Rear axle poly bushes Delivery of Race-Tech exhaust Radiator Intercooler and pipework (in talks with Dean from RW about fabrication) CV joints/boots Just little bits and bobs after that. Want nearly everything to be brand new! Or as close to it as possible! -
Cheers guys I'll give Dean a shout!

Recently got myself a race-tech GT28 turbo kit (second hand). I have no intercooler pipework and dont want to bodge tonnes of lengths of pipe and joiners. Want something relatively neat looking. I cant think of any way other than taking the car somewhere to have it all custom made. Will need to get everything from scratch (core, pipes etc) Anyone had experience making they're own or know of any kits that may only need very slight modification?

Rear light looms and foot rest near pedal assembly?
