  1. I vote for leaving it silver,. Only because that's what I opted for! Kinda hints that there's something a bit more going on under the bonnet, if you follow me?
  2. I was just about to suggest that! ^^ "It's broken? Ah that's alright, for 99p I'll take it anyway"
  3. I was watching it, but missed the end. Balls.
  4. "Choo-che-choo noises" Bahahahahaha!
  5. www.funkypower.co.uk Got my Blox Racing ones form them - £50 a set
  6. I'd say no, purely based on my genuine TRD oil filler cap being black not silver, and having a slightly smaller "badge"
  7. I think people are getting "fake" and "replica" mixed up a bit here! IMO Replica = good. Gives people the option of having performance parts at a fraction of the cost of genuine with no pretence of being the genuine article. Granted you won;t get eh same build quaility, but then you know that when you buy it Fake = bad. Items being passed off as genuine so the buyer is being con'd.
  8. On the flip side of all this are people like my Mum's 70-odd year old next door neighbour who let's me park the Starlet on her driveway when I drop in because she likes it! Faith in humanity - restored!
  9. Driving down past Vodka Revs at about 3:00 this afternoon...
  10. No point using wax on a white car anyway. Not because it comes up yellow, just because you can't get "depth" on light paint so may as well use a sealant instead...

    Movember 2012

As my facial fungus growing abilities are pitiful (even at nearly 24 years old!) I won't be volunteering. However, I hereby pledge a fiver to anyone who grows and maintains a full set of Friendly Muttonchops for the whole of Movember!
  12. If it's not the alternator, check the front calipers. Looks like it could be one of the bolts that holds them to the carrier.
  13. Watching that made my arse go all funny. Don't envy you!
  14. White gunk on the oil filler could also mean that the car's been on lots of short runs lately, if it is there and disappears once the engine's had a good run it's all fine
  15. Yeah, I do just so that I don't have to get home from work and start looking in cupboards and thinking of something to make. Also mean that you don't overspend at the supermarket!
  16. 130 @ 6k rpm in the ep82 on a ct9 hybrid at 0.7 bar before I bottled it....
  17. Manifold studs etc are normally just sold on size and thread pitch (eg. M10x1.5), pretty much any motor factor should be able to supply them if you know which ones you need.
  18. Near the end of Max Road, I was in the black GT going the other way...
  19. Bit of of rough guess TBH. £45 to fill the tank on V-power and I'll get between 80 & 100 per 1/4 tank. But as I say - hardly exact maths!
  20. I shat on an ST once. Just dropped my keks and went for it...
  21. On a motorway run @ 60mph I'll get roughly 100 miles to £10...
