  1. I am unable to view my profile, or my content, says “something went wrong. Please try again. Error code: EX4096”, and my recent how to on disassembling the gearbox has vanished If I enter the url it just comes up with: We could not locate the item you are trying to view. Error code: 2F173/1
  2. Modify the original and cut off the bottom part of the shifter rod (just above where it connects to the cable) and weld in an additional 10-15mm, and add spacers to the mounting points so it don't hit the floor
  3. Do a compression test, and/or better yet a leak down test if you can, Make sure which ever cylinder you're testing is on TDC on compression stroke if it starts leaking then listen if it's leaking through the exhaust or Inlet, you will hear it, or if it's the rings you'll hear/feel air coming out the oil dipstick tube, doing this you'll help point you in the right direction if it's a valve or rings However, I am leaning towards a worn valve
  4. Cheers Gainzy! And thanks Paul, appreciate that, yesterday would have actually been his birthday so had been a bit of a shitty day for myself, cant imagine how his family is feeling, and it's only 2 weeks away until it would have been a year ago since he passed For me working on all these car bits helps me keep my mind off it, but I'm only using money I had saved as I'm not earning anymore and I keep spending and spending but have to remind myself that it won't last forever unfortunately EDIT: and yeah Paul you gotta reupload your pics bro!
  5. 1/10/17 Started rubbing down the new headlight cover with 400 to 7000 grit sandpaper then polish to remove all the micro scratches and bring them up like brand new! 400 grit: 7000 grit: Now all it needs is polishing with the polishing wheels and it will be like new Been told that one of my bones in my leg still hasn't healed, so apparently I require a bone graft (fantastic) so I want to get as much done as I can before I have that operation 2/10/17 Finished up the headlight cover

  12. 14/9/17 Nothing really new has happened, just been disassembling my gearbox, which I have written a tutorial about here: [EDIT: Tutorial somehow got lost unfortunately through a server swap but im looking at doing another in future] And it definitely looks like I will be getting a Quaife ATB! The diff I have is a TRD clutch type LSD, which is not what I want unfortunately Other than that the grill badge is done and ready to fit, but not going to do that just yet And the TRD engine mounts I bought turned out not to be TRD mounts sadly so I'm
