I knew itd be along the line of a boso! I put a very mild one on mine a while back, didnt suit it very much imo, but check out the one me and a mate made for my old fiesta they suit ratty cars really well, seen one on a smooth fiesta and it looked poo tbh, never know till ya try dude!
-
Yeah i used a nut on the cross member being the dials to earth it, probably a shitty gauge/shitty sender
-
Hmm, its earthed behind the clocks, wheres yours earthed? It didnt surprise me tbh as the gauge was cheap, i wasnt expecting it to be perfect
-
I had to run 20mm spacers so my ats' would fit over gt brakes
-
Cheers dude, unfortunately the new jobs monthly pay so im fully skint for a month! Im looking forward to my dash all being in one piece, waiting on the dial surround and centre console to get flocked by my mate, that and i ned to replace the heater matrix as its pissing out all over the passenger footwell! A couple more small updates Got the temp sensor in and working, although the fan kicks in at 60, when the temp of the water in the rad is at 80, anyone shed some light on this? And got some stubby valves ready for when the bandeds are painted with some g

No worries man, cheers though!

Dont suppose youve got a wiring diagram for the ignition on an ep91 do ya?
-
Im fitting an after market temp gauge, its all in but im not sure where to get the ignition live from, can anyone tell what wire to splice it into at the back of the ignition? Or if theres a better place Cheers, im useless with electrics!

They wont be the same, drums use a taper bearing whereas the glanzza discs have press in bearings
-
Just installed nos, havent plumbed it in yet but im hoping itll make it bare fast... Also finally got the leds for my heater controls, and the missing one for the dials, unfortunately the heaters look shit because of the bright/dim spots, ah well! You can see the temp gauge looks different because of the non smd leds But the best news is, ive started my new job, and one of the things we do is refurb wheels so, Woop woop! So hopefully theyll look fresh as fuck for japfest!

Agree with morgey, the L makes it look uneven -
I run 8.5j front wheels and the only thing they scrub is the arch liner ( because of the ride height) Unless the ep82 arches are different i cant see how itd hit the inside? Edit: Actually, i run 195/45's, i suppose it depends on the tyre size really
-
I dont think theyre that soft, but the fitment on my rear wheels doesnt cater for any suspension movement aha, whats up with your d2 fronts? my teins arent the best anymore
-
Just read that whole thread, how havent i seen that before! And just to clarify, non turbo ecu's can only handle minus intake pressure (vaccum) whereas boost is a plus intake pressure, if that makes sense?
-
If its rubbing on the inside a small spacer would stop it, although with et0 are you sure its scrubbing the inside?
-
The whole bottle, id advise a coolant flush/change afterwards mind as mine keeps bubbling out the overflow bottle, and the rads full of bubbles aswell

Today consisted of this Shiny parts The brakes are just amazing now, ready for fwd drift season aha What the old shoe looked like at the top Like 0.5/1mm left on there. Fingers crossed, this will be the end of my troubles (involving rear bearings anyway)

Na i just chucked it straight in the normal rad, I'll try anything before pulling the dash out in this weather!
-
Yeah the dripping stopped a couple of minutes after i put the k seal in the rad
-
Its rad weld buddy, ive used it before to seal a leaky rad, it worked then and it seems to have done the trick on the matrix too

Got the passenger driveshaft for this mate?
