A couple of weekends back me and my cousin whent to pick up his first starlet. After having a go in the glanza and him finishing off his last project he decided he wanted one. I'll start with a few of his old cars before getting to the GT. First the Audi Then the s14 On to the scooby Then the cupra He's only just finished the cupra and thinking about selling it on to fund the starlet build. After a few weeks of searching we found the GT, took the low loader up to rugby and picked up this He's got a fair few plans for it, I'll try keep this updated along with mine

I said that but on the s14 it's inbetween the turbo and air filter, we've just had a bit of a debate over it. Looks like I won

Well the fella had it on his ep82 running a tdo4. I thought the same as you but it's confused me a little.

The cars been on stands since Xmas so that's no bother, I'm seriously considering just sending the whole lot away and letting some one else forge it tho. Shit £4k on just the head, that's crazy

Bugger that! I budgeted 3 for the engine lol. It was a spur of the moment decision to turn it into a project tho and I'm working off a weekly wage. If I had to do it again I'd get the money sorted first. How the fook can you spend £10k on the engine? I'd expect it to be gold plated for that

That's not to far, I got my glanza from there. I'll have a search for them and try them out cheers. If not the whole bloody lots going to mike@td and he can forge it for me lol I'm over budget on it already and havn't even ordered the internals

Ok I do use a machine shop close to me but they seem to be as useful as a chocolate tea pot atm. I'll see if they can do it. Cheers for the help matey

Oh bollox!!! Where could I send it to get that done and get the valves lapped in, get it skimmed and have my zisco stem seals put in? The bill just gets bigger

I've stripped my head down and muddled up the shim buckets like a twat. Are the inlet and outlet shims the same size? Would I be ok to put them back in any old order? Bit worried now

Think I'm just going to put an NA engine back in. Any one got an idea how much I'd be paying for a NA engine with ancillaries and manifolds? Not sure on a wire loom yet tho

It can be done, they'd have to be stripped, repolished, etched and anodised for the best finish. That ways pretty expensive tho depending on the style and shape of the wheel.

Cheers for the reply I thought about EMU but then for a few extra hundred I could get an FC if I can find one. Think 460's sound good, I'm guessing just get hold of some denso ones yeah?

I'm going to be running a forged engine on a k26 turbo. Now what would people suggest on the ecu side of things? I was thinking apexi fc but they are pretty pricey. Also what would peoples suggestions be on injectors? Any advice would be much appreciated, I'm aiming for 250bhp+
