  1. I've got one in the shed mate its black and a bit boring. I'll double check tomorrow for any holes etc.
  2. Would it be possible to lose the maf from the ecu altogether or would the ecu need new internals to read right?
  3. I think this is the only option we have left, it won't be done till next weekend tho as we have the other turbo to fit and another fuel rail to order lol amongst other bits and bobs to sort first.
  4. I think that's part of tonight plan, going to obviously mark it first tho just incase.
  5. It was from a GT into a GT. the maf was mounted correctly to with all wires plugged in. All the symptoms seem to point to the timing, we'll have to do some research into it and see what happens.
  6. You'll be calling it civic life next lol.
  7. That issue is/has been resolved, hence the new rules.
  8. They'll have a list of names they can easily control and police. Soon as some sees some thing fishy it's game over. Fairly simple process
  9. It'll help mods police sellers better tho
  10. By the sounds of it, it is. The guy we got it off said he got it last year some time and he's only the third person to have it since it was made. Might give him a pm tomorrow if we don't have any luck.
  11. Damn so tempted to comment lol. I think I've got some spare if no one else can find them
  12. I sort of hear the back ground story to the whole apexi thing a while back but didn't know that, do you have any idea of how many they have converted? We're discussing what our next move atm. I'm thinking get the timing right and it might be ok, probably idle and run lumpy but at least it'll run and we'll know the ecu works. The other option is wait till the other engines been built and just use a FCD for now on the standard ecu then get the apexi mapped to suit. We've positioned the maf where the trd sticker would be one the cooler pipe It would be safer to wait but for peace of mind
  13. We tried the throttle and nothing happened, think we'll try a few options out tomorrow night now it's to late to think lol
  14. Just spoke to the fella, his engine was running billet cams so I'm guessing the timings completely out. Nice fella tho he's got some good bits and there rather cheap.
  15. Oh right well it could be over fueling we're using 550cc injectors but they guy who we got them from said it was mapped with them as well. No I don't have any software, just ecu and maf. We're on our way back to pool now to see the fella about his turbo kit, I'll see what he has to say.
  16. Would it of wiped the map off when it was unplugged? Could an earthing out from the battery wiped it to?
  17. Our cars on tdo4 the same as the ecu was mapped to. We havn't had time to check for fault codes yet, it just turns over and attempts to fire but dies off again.
  18. Bumping this up for a bit more info. We've fitted it with the injectors it was mapped with and the car don't run, we've plugged the standard ecu back in and it fires first time. Does any one have any ideas?
  19. X2 It should save a lot of arguments and hassle
  20. Haha yeah something along those lines, maybe a new set of injectors to lol
  21. Very nice, always had a soft spot for these.
  22. Cheers mate, updates will be soon I just need to order some new parts
  23. I was thinking the same lol. I did say "I think" when writing them figures, been out the gym game for a while and can't exactly remember from 2 years ago.
