heya guys, yesterday I removed the throttle body water supply and bypassed it so no water runs through it as I wanted to get some lower inlet temps . now when the car got warm my usual 600 rpm idle went all the way up to 2000 rpm. obviously theres a valve in there of somesort that opens and shuts with warm/cold water. I removed the black cap and screwed the screw so the idle went down to 1000 but its still to high and thats as low as it goes. my question is has anybody had a throttle body apart and seen this idle control unit and how easy is it to mod to get idle constantly lo

hey guys, been doing alot of research on fcds etc and found this cool bit of testing done I found on the tinter-web fuel cut is a voltage of 4.15v . the graph shows what the map sensor voltage is knocked down to at said settings given (5,7, and 9 are tested and shown here.... shows that on a starlet when u went to run a bar of boost that theres no need to go lower than setting 9. I remember reading that alot of people run it on setting 8 or even as low as 7. Now ideally you want the fcd on the closest setting to hitting fuel cut as possible to still be active safeguard for
