pushing these little biscuit tins past 110mph will never feel to safe. lol that being said I have every handling mod conceivable on my starlet and some extras and feels perfectly fine at 125 mph plus. decent tein coilys help and I have quite a high spring rate really. running 2 degress camber up front and same on rear. front has -0.4 toe I believe.
sounds like a regulator/rectifier issue, christ thats alot of voltage. as u well know should show a max of 14.3 when cars running. that being said I haven't a clue were the starlet regulate from.
116k isnt that much on a jap car, especially an n/a jap car. if its been maintained well it should be 5/10 psi of what psi it had originally. as above refresh ignition and do a comp test.
half rad will make working on engine bay will make working on ure starlet soooo much easier not to mention cool it better. ure car looks like a tidy example.;-)
yeah big difference as the fluid absorbs water over time which diminishes the fluids high boiling point properties. Under hard breaking I no longer get "spongy" brakes. as for the bhp loss/gain I havent got a clue on exact figures but im sure u have an idea really and your just messing.
mine goes to 16.5/16.9 at times guys.always has done.when driving and cruising under barely any load it will go from 14.7 as far as 16 . the reason is a lean mix mixture under bearly any loads isnt a problem for the engine. all I know id that under wot with boost shud be hitting 11.0 to 11.5 and 11.0 to 11.5 on cold start also
