  1. yeap they are a straight fit with no issues. they are very rare and usually around 150 without tyres.
  2. catagory one alarm. wouldnt have any less that way u so get a certificate to show to insurance also
  3. yes a wideband requires a bung welded in mate. around 36 inchs from the tuby
  4. u sound dissapointed lol. they arent banded or anything like that there stock 6.5 inch wide 15"s
  5. the r888s that are the most common and widely used in most instances are the CC or GG. thats what I am basing my experience on.
  6. yes I have to agree with r888 comment. although I didnt think they wore that bad tbh. that comes down to how balanced a car is.any shitty unbalanced car with kill tyres very well. the r888 are good on the streets as they are soft but never really gonna get much heat in them. and as for the track.i would say mindblowingly grippy would be what I would say.
  7. and yes a jam does have something to do with fueling as does the stock ecu dude lol. but none of the above ecus have an lcd screen with an afr shown at anytime built into them :-D
  8. it will show u ure ratios. u need to aim for 11.5 afr to be safe or to be super safe 10.5-11.0 both these afrs are at WOT
  9. thats what we are getting at dude, u cant just guess or go with somebodys rough advice. at the end of the day u can do as u please and we are only trying to help you get ure fueling bang on and nothing else. good luck

  11. good man,im surprised u have agro with the stock headbolts as i havent heard anybody have problems. i got mine from iddy and they are the n/a 70 bhp bolts and worked bang on,athough saying that u have had some shite luck with your motor aint ya bless ya. cool man and will let u know of any meets etc. well done again matey and i bet ure finally happy and i am so pleased for you

  13. that is a weird noise aint it. does sound like the noise of vacuum going through the system,ie the noise after giving the throttle a short sharp blip.and letting right of fully. dont think anything to worry about mines not disimilar and i have a new system.
  14. UPDATE...... fitted a ct9 hks actuator that i got from kieran liggins for £20 delivered and its in superb condition.took a few little tweeks and a new hole and here we go... i have fitted this to adjust boost via just the actuator as i feel its the best way,its definatley not the easyiest way to do it because everytime it need loading up to up the boost pressure i need to get under the front of the car and remove the "e" clip and then screw in the arm half a turn each time. maywell take a few days of driving to work etc to get it right but once its done its done then.
  15. hey guy's. just a quick randon question, when I start my car and obviously the "choke" comes in and richens the fuel to around 11.5-12 a/f what is it thats doing this ? is it the wax stat shutting of a certain airway etc or is it solely the ecu temp sender ?? I have a feeling its just the temp sender for ecu. anybody know as I would like to know out of interest ??
  16. keep it in that box. best place for it.
