  1. As said above sliders are probably stuck or a damaged rubber ring in the piston housing not pulling piston back
  2. What mbc did you get mikey?
  3. What you can do is leave everything plugged the way it is. Except put one single hose from your actuator port to the port on the turbo compressor housing - this will run the boost off actuator spring pressure without using the solenoid. So if you boost normally with this setup you can confirm it isnt your actuator thats faulty
  4. No it definitely doesnt help with economy as the engine uses more revs to pull the car around when on lo boost . especially under load/WOT. The engine light wont come on as a result of a faulty/non-existent solenoid either. It could be down to a lot of things mate probably best doing a diagnostic test to find out what the story is
  5. Lewigi the boost solenoid may be at fault here, why dont you remove the solenoid and pipes and run full boost constantly? Tbh lo boost doesnt do much other than raise your fuel bill and it was only really designed for driving in poor conditions And I think it limits boost on a glanza whether hi or lo is selected
  6. Hi mate would be interested in the jam fcd but tbh there only worth 35-40 max, would you be willing to work out a deal? Ryan
  7. Yes mate they lower the rotational mass meaning the engine can rev up freer, meaning yea as a consequence it will spool slightly earlier. The car will also decelerate faster as a result but who gives a shit about that
  8. Or a boost leak somewhere check all pipes and lines, and check the manifold for any cracks
  9. Weak/fucked actuator. Buy a hks/tuning developments replacement there not dear
  10. Thanks Arnold ive one provisionally bought from Lew so not in need of one anymore
  11. Unfortunately no progress at the minute as ive decided to fabricate my own ext.wastegate manifold and screamer using the toyoshite as a mock. In the meantime this arrived from Whitenoize gentleman to deal with even threw in free fan mounting brackets thanks bud! Triple core half rad for the td04 kit
  12. Seen your real name and that glanzacoley name plastered across facebook for ripping boys off for starlet parts. I dont know you to judge but definitely worth a warning to all the good folks on here!
  13. Yea it will do because you can set the boost to .7 bar or something so it doesnt hit fuel cut (.85bar)
  14. Pretty much same setup as mine mate all pipes are there and I wouldn't worry too much about it going over the exhaust manifold because its before it gets cooled after that anyway. But ollies right a short pipe will reduce the minimal lag and heat!
  15. Turn boost down a bit so you dont hit it if its an adjustable actuator! Otherwise youll need either an ecu or fcd/fpr to safely exceed boost cut
  16. You could end up spinning a shell and requiring a full bottom end rebuild and new crank if you lose oil pressure
  17. Curtis oil light flickering is oil pressure problem not oil level!! Check oil pressure mate as engine could be on its way out if the light comes on! Could be a faulty or dying oil pump. And always keep the oil full to the full mark not halfway!
  18. Will have a look mate cheers
  19. Thanks Ryan I'll send him a message, will still be on the lookout though I want to see what options are available in the next while.
  20. Im after a lightened flywheel ideally fidanza for my gt if anyone has one for sale? Wont be actually buying it until the end of the month but looking to see whats out there?
  21. I bought a brand new half rad off Ryan and it came exactly as described in fantastic condition, very well packaged and quick delivery! Thanks alot Ryan!!
  22. Where did you get the livesports front bumper from mate?
