  3. Fitted these solid shifter bearings today, total cost £3. Nice upgrade too they make the gear selection really tight and accurate now with the short shifter..
  4. Finally getting back to making some progress Short shifter arrived yesterday so lashed it in last night Now i can finally get around to fitting this My 6 speed box...

  6. Get a new actuator on too if youve went as far as a turbo rebuild. I ported the wastegate and fitted a brand new one and mine hasnt creeped since.

  8. Need a few random parts..the wee plastic parts which cover where the stock seats bolt down? Literally covers the bolt heads...would anyone have these by any chance?

  12. So its spooling up at 2.5k but isnt fully boostin til 4? Thats strange Pat..get the hks one back on and wind it til your set for about .8bar and check when she comes on song. Should be fully boosting by 3-3.2k revs
  13. Yeah Pat the port that you vent to atmosphere would nornally be recirculated back into the efi pipe on the stock setup so no worries there. You still not making boost at 4k revs? Sumthin not right there Pat!

  15. I've an organic exedy and it hates second gear launches at 180hp so in a word - no! Lol clutch just slips at that so i couldnt see it handling much more tbh
  16. Mine does the same mate though if i shift slowly into second it doesnt grind. You said it though, 2nd gear synchro and depending on how long its been going on for the teeth on the engagement hub could be damaged. Oil change will be good for it but wont take away the grinding, best off getting the box rebuilt or get a replacement, 2nd gearset is the dearest to buy im near sure its about 290 odd quid.
  17. Na mate not at all Mines fine. Its a one piece exhaust though is yours the same? you can weld flanges onto it to then bolt it together
  18. Mines a powerflow exhaust too mate and it has two up at the midpipes just behind the flexi im sure and then two on the backbox. Near sure thats it tbh
