  1. maybe the pin has came off the arm connecting the actuator to wastegate lever. that way any boost will go straight out the exhsust via the wastegate. just a thought

  8. the sugar cube thing wont remove the crunch its a common problem with these c-series boxes.. although synchros dont go overnight they will have been crunching a while.. the fella has known all too well so name and shame. does no harm to keep others right
  9. redline 75w90. there should be a fill level bung on the front of the gearbox which you remove while filling the box with oil, when oil seeps form the bung then its job done
  10. notch the shifter housing or fit a short shifter, allows more throw to engage reverse out of curioisty was the box from a g6 or g6r?
  11. whats the caster settings of the wheels? my pas wheel has 0deg and my drivers side has 1deg positive, so while the drivers wheel tries to self-centre the pas wheel stays upright and straight, pulling it to the left pretty strongly when i let go of the wheel (which doesnt happen often obviously) but its very noticeable.

  15. drivers one? mine wobbles too mate dunno if its meant to or not but doesn't bother me!
  16. could just be a change in the way the power comes in mate due to the front mount being fitted now as it shifts the power band higher up, prolongs the revs abit whereas top mounted your threw the gears in no time. just from my own personal experience.
  17. youll not have any more problems when you do those fella, even with a decat and relocated filter youll be grand..if ya need a hand with the wastegate let me know mate happy to help, im sure aaron has your back well covered though. yeah thats exactly what i know you as. lol. is the wee motor going alright for ya? heard you had a scare up in jordanstown the other night!
  18. bigger wheels will affect acceleration as reece says mark, but not excessively tbh. have you any boost leaks? maybe do a compression check on the engine just for peace of mind mate. all the same running gear?
  19. fuel cuts 12.5 psi as above, i run mine at 12 psi for a few years and never hit fuel cut once mate.
  20. the spring on standard actuators gets weak after a while and struggles to hold the desired boost level so best off buying a hks or tuning developments actuator brand new. and also port out the wastegate on your turbo as this will allow the gas to be released better reducing the chances of creep. off topic...are you aaron c's friend with the ep91 conversion?

      lmao ano the feeling lad,beautiful cars my mate had a gtst, and i gapped him in my gt advance at the jon44w cruise night in portadown,he wasnt to happyeither and wasnt long before he swapped to a 700hp GTR lol :/

      jesus he must've took that bad. lol you cant really compete with a 700hp GTR fs :/ what spec was the advance if shes putting distance on the gtst? If I hadve fitted my td04 kit I would've shit all over the r33 I think lol

      lmao deffo.. and not a chance of it rocket ship that thing, the advance was standard apart from exhaust system and hks dump valve not unless it had chipped ecu,havnt a clue but it was a wee rocket,think the person who owned it before me must have had nos in it at some stage had wizards of nos sticker below the speedo :o and deffo lad i agree power to weight in these wee cars is unreal :D
