  1. I run no dump valve or efi pipe and have a td actuator and the solenoid works mate. It takes me years to upload pics on this too have you facebook? I realised I wrote a pile of pish the first time explaining ithis ill try again lol cut the bit of hose between your hks port and turbo nipple in the middle, put the tee piece here, and run a line to the bottom port of the boost solenoid, leave the top port open. Then just a case of adjusting actuator so when on hi you dont hit fuel cut
  2. Havent did our gearbox Mikey but fwd ones generally arent too bad but get a good proper fifth gear puller as I heard they can break if not removed properly mate. Tbh theres plenty of cogs as colin says just line then all out one after another as you remove then and youll be alright
  3. Did you put the split pin back onto the wastegate arm by any chance? If it isn't it wont be able to build boost.
  4. Yea you can your looking for damage to teeth on the gold/bronze synchro rings, also check they move freely toward the gear they select, check the smaller teeth that the synchro actually engages as well
  5. Ile get you a pic today bud leave it with me. From memory the one coming from the boost solenoid splits to both actuator ports. So its basically goes between the two ports, the third outlet runs to the solenoid..make sense?
  6. The hks actuators are adjustable so you set it to your own boost level. I run .8bar hi an .6 lo with the stock boost solenoid so it can be done pretty easy, as WallaceGlanza said use a t-piece and your sorted

  12. I just made 177hp from my ct9 at .8bar, most people run them at 1bar where you can make 190-200hp with a massive powerband. theyre good fun although ill be changing mine to a td04 kit pretty son as you soon get used to the ct9s power.

  16. ts running 12psi daily and at the dyno Mike. I dont wanna push the turbo too hard as I've a td04 set up to go on shortly but I wanted a figure for the current setup. There's no chance a ct9b would make that much power at a bar man this isnt a hybrid one unfortunately.

  18. No progress the last while but I did get the Starlet along to its first rolling road session a few weeks back at Autotune N.I. Made 176.6 bhp @ 6403 rpm, 155 hp at the wheels And the torque measured 153.4 lb-ft / 208 Nm I predicted 165 bhp so safe to say im a happy man for the time being
