  2. Im sure it cant be too dear. Its a banjo bolt with two bolts in the side. At a guess it wouldnt be too far off m14x45 Try.toyota
  3. Pull the rubber boot back on the slave cylinder on front of the gearbox and check for leaks. Give it a quick bleed and test again
  4. This happened me but luckily it was whem removing it from my crashed sportif. Havnt had the heart to fit it to my new S but I might peel back the carpet and re weld the nuts on this car. Loved the gokart feel from the extra castor. How did u get on lad. Are u from tyrone?

Jim, are your heater controls knobs or the pushbutton type. You can adjust the flaps where the cable attachs. Id check that first before flushing it out. Im sure dishwasher descaler wouldnt do any harm man but like u say a good rinse out with a hose should be ok
  9. Addy that was my old white sportif. Man she was some yoke. I stripped it out and fitted gt seats mounted further back because Im abit tall Should work on a gt, at worst you could have to use the celica lever in your mounting
  10. This is a bare axle. That stub and plated are welded on. Those four holes hold the caliper carrier plate and in turn the caliper. Stub holds the disc with build in bearings. Big nut goes on job done. Rear calipers seaze, it dont know why. Ive a gt setup to strip down and clean so Ill take better photos then.
  11. Axles are the same size. Its a visual illusion that their different. Yes you can bolt all the gt/glanza parts to your SR axle. Go look at the rear camber thread and youll see four bolts that hold the caliper bracket on a gt and hold the rear of your drum on a SR. drum brakes rule!
  12. Im after the wee bump strip piece on the end of the drivets door where it meets the rear quarter. Shoul fit in an envelope
  13. Remus back box is a great TTE replacement. Great fit and similar note.

You remove the clamps with pliers and when gently twist the hoses by hand to break the seal and they should slide off handy. Use your hands and not the pliers. And don't turn the garden hose on full blast either. Is your blower motor workin ok, does it get better when you change it to recirculate air inside the car. Is your pollen filters blocked and does your hot cold flap fully close when you want it to?

Remove both sides man. Although please be careful because the pipes are very soft and easily squashed.
  16. The oil level bolt is the big 50p lookin one on the front of the gearbox. Its a shprt bolt so shouldnt be too tight. my gearbox whined when I used fuchs oil and didnt when I changed brands.
  17. Use the whole thing. Also we can use the celica/corolla ebay shirtshifters but I cany comment on throw as Ive never used them
  18. Lol you can go the scrapyards and jump in and out of toyotas playin with knobs until u find one u like the feel of...
  19. Not even the gt4 one, just and ordinary one. Its the length of the lever below the pivot ball that makes the difference. A longer bottom lever gives more work below and less work for you above ie moving the gearknob. Anyone have a breaker they could measure the standard one.
  20. A few years back I learned that 96-00 celicas and Im sure a host of other toyotas had a shorter shift than our starlets. I got a gearshifter from the scrapyard and put it in my starlet. The end I wonder where Toyota-TRD get their £200 short shifters..
  21. No lad, if you lift your carpet and scrap away/chisel the sounddeadening inside the car, roughl where the bolt should be you can just about get at it. U might need to widen the hole abit to get at it. I would tack the bolt back in place with a stick welder @mcglinchey dont be shy about takin a fews photos, mighy help the next man
  22. I was jokin to highlight the problem of mis-information
  23. Lol I cant wait for the 'so Ive cut my stubaxle off now what thread' lol.Why doesnt everyone just buy the d1 adjustable rear mounts from rhdjapan..
