abbott
Here is my car when I bought it in november 2006 then in march 2007 I had one of my pistons crack which pee'd me right off so i done some thinking and phoneing about and desided that im going to go all out on this. so stripping down began. So in the mean time i booked my engine in with Rod at SES in braintree to have a forged engine done in April. So while the engine was away i spent some money on a few partsAlso Heat wrapped my short down pipe and manifoldsome pics of parts fitted while waiting for the engine to come backThen in november 2007 my engine was ready to be collected so we went and collected this and started to fit itengine is all in and everythink back together. END NOV 2007So running in miles started i was all happy and every think sounded sweet. Till 230miles down the road my turbo gave in due to me blocking the oil feed to it . But o well lesson to be learnt. So got on the phone to toby from toy tuning and he helped me out and got my turbo rebuilt.fitted new turbo> mid JAN 2008started car and every think is running good and no problems. So back on with the running in. took some pics of the car all polished up completed my running in miles at the end of FEB 2008. Done a oil change and fitted 440cc injectors as Edd from fusion motorsport was coming up to get a safe map on it but 2 failed to work. So lucky a mate on tgtt has leant me his 550cc so i could get it running and get it mapped. so we tried again a couple of days later and it was fine. I was booked in to have the car mapped at surrey rolling road on 19th march 2008. The day came round and everythink was good for once so got down there and heres what it made with a few pics A week later and the car is great and running well.this is the up to date spec but as you know its ever growingENGINE4E-FTE wossner forged pistons wossner forged rods Fully balance bottom end Gas flowed and polished head Ported and polished inlet manifold 2mm head gasketLight weight Crank pully Custom manifold Custon pipework Custom front mount intercooler Custom oil cooler Custom oil catch tank Custom braided oil and clutch linesCustom turbo water lines Custom Front exit exhaust (heat wrapped)HKS GT25/30 roller bearing turbo HKS air filter HKS ssqv blow off valve HKS actuatorGreddy emanage ultimate with main, injector and ignition harnessesGreddy emanage 3bar pressure sensorGreddy knock sensor adaptorGreddy Profec B boost controller Sard 550cc injectors Sard Fuel Pressure Regulator Walbro Uprated Fuel Pump Magnecor 8.5mm leads NGK Iridium plugs Blue hosesCarbon cooling panelDrivetrain Standard GearboxExedy Organic ClutchTRD QuickshiftChassis/Suspension TRD engine mounts KYB shocksEibach springsFront and rear strut braces Cusco lower arm barWhiteline Adjustable Panhard RodWhiteline Anti-lift/Castor Kit BRAKES, WHEELSWilwood 4 pot calipers 3G 285mm discsBraided lines MR2 15" wheels powder coated mat black Goodyear eagle F1's tyres INTERIORA pillar pod for gaugesDefi Link Boost gaugeDefi Link Oil Pressure GaugeDefi Link EGT gaugeDefi Link controllerGreddy Profec B boost controllerGreddy Turbo timer3 point harnessesAlpine head unit

abbott
Well i have been having problems this week that i smelt fuel through my oil catch tank which wooried me that it was over fueling and washing the bores. So i tried getting through to my mapper from fusion and called and called and left messages and no one returned my calls. So spoke to Gaz turbo and he got me a appointment at Engine Advanages for today to get it checked out on the rollers. Friday came and got it down to Paul, straight away he said its running far to rich so he had to start from scratch on a new map as the emanage ultimate was playing up and he was not happy with the map which fusion had done as fuel to air ratio was completely wrong. After sorting problems out Paul got a good result of 268.2 bhp at the fly 218.4 lbft at 1.5 bar so a bit more boost and the car is so different to drive now and runs like a dream. here is the graphBig thanks to Gaz turbo, Aze B, Dave Burwash, Starlet Rick for there recommodation for Engine Advantages
