Decjhawes Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 Hello everyone. I've had this Glanza Just over a month now. Bought it for a good price knowing I needed to tidy a few things up to suit me. It's been mapped by Tuning Developments and has a Dyno printout of 202bhp at 1bar. Coming from a mapped Fn2 and being my first turbo car it puts a massive smile on my faceĀ š This is what it looked like when I first got it. Immediately went about bringing it up to date. I know these aren't to everyones taste as they're reps but I got a good price on these and really think they made the car look alot more modernĀ Also the TRD gearknob on the car didn't feel great so I swapped it for a Tomei one and it feels alot betterĀ next on the list was a BOV so I found this locally on Marketplace but it had seen better days so I took some time to bring it back to life, just waiting on the right hoses to fit it to the car nowĀ Quote
BMX-RIG Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Looks good! Always likedĀ this car when John had it. An simple oem look with the power to surprise. Whats next in the pipeline? š Quote
Farley V Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Nice, looks like you're making progress! I like the Tomei knob and gaiter, where did you buy them? And has this car got footwell lights on it?Ā Also what is that gold packet infront of the shifter? Generic air freshener? Keep up the good work. Quote

Whats next in the pipeline? š Thanks mate, John was a pleasant bloke to deal with and he definitely looked after the car. I'm just going to be doing a few subtle mods, I'm after some blue DC5 recaros and a ducktail wing next. I'm probably going to be keeping it at the power it's running as it goes well for what it is. Simple mods but a nice touch. It does have footwell lights. And that gold packet is something from a shrine in japan, John found it when he pulled the carpet for a deep clean. I think it's nice to have something from its time in Japan. Quote
Sam44 Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Looking good. Another very clean example enjoy.Ā Quote

Bopthebear Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 Looking good mate! Amazing what a set of wheels can do Ā Keep us updated Ā Quote
Decjhawes Posted March 31, 2020 Author Posted March 31, 2020 Thought I'd post a little update on the starlet. I fitted some 98' spec rear lights as they look 10x better in my opinion. I've also got an OEM rear lip I'm rubbing down ready for paint. With this country in lockdown I can finally get some bits done. This picture was taken a few weeks ago, Thought I'd take the Glanza out after what felt like 2 months of stormy weather.Ā Quote

Decjhawes Posted April 20, 2020 Author Posted April 20, 2020 Quarantine has given me lots of free time so time to sort out the things that where bothering me. Engine bay has been properly tidied and I'm quite happy with how its turned out. Alsopurchased a JAM replica front lip and I'm currently waiting on JAM skirts and wing to arrive.Ā This was the engine bay beforeĀ I also took the time to dye the carpet black but only have this picture with my Daughter (Who can't stop climbing in and out of the car) I think I've got her appprovalĀ š Quote
Gav Missen Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 Build looks good going well bud that engine bay did come up nice! Quote

Decjhawes Posted April 22, 2020 Author Posted April 22, 2020 So the JAM skirts and spoiler arrived yesterday so I spent the day mocking everything up and seeing if it all fits. Skirts required a littte filing down by the rear quarter but it was expected with FRP products. I am over the moon with how it looks and it's not even painted. I think I'm going to get a mid spoiler and that should finish of the exterior nicely.Ā Quote
Sam44 Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 Looking very nice.Ā Are these new if so can you send me a link for the side skirts. Quote

Decjhawes Posted July 16, 2020 Author Posted July 16, 2020 Haven't been very active on here as car has been at the body shop. Whole jam kit is painted now and looks excellent. Its finally starting to get somewhere now. Quote
Decjhawes Posted September 28, 2021 Author Posted September 28, 2021 Haven't posted on here in a long time. I've been far too occupied enjoying the car in the summer weather. I changed a fair few things on this car since the last update.Ā I needed to change things that where annoying me so in went a set of BC coilovers and a pair of seats I picked up locally. Quote
