Idrees
good luck, if you can't fit it urself i'm sure it wouldn't cost much from a mechanic?
keirz
i could get a machanic to do it for free as my dad owns a garage. thing is i want to do it for myself just to prove that i can. stupid i know but if i dont learn these things myself what hope do i have for future mods. Guest Enzo
how did you get your inlet mani to shine up like that. what didyou paint it with mate?
keirz
cheers rob, glad you like them, better than my old ones by a mile. got to represent for the notts starlet crew, not many of us!enzo, i used some chrome effect spray paint from a company called plastikote. its available from halfords because thats where i picked mine up from bout £8ish. its a lot better than i thought it would be, its a shame its not high heat or i would do my rocker cover in this aswell. keirz
well mani is fitted now, was quite easy appart from one bolt that was rounded so became a pain in the arse other than that it was a piece of piss.didnt move the fuel rail, didnt unplug anything from the throttle body, didnt need a longer bit of vacuum pipe i just moved the sensor holder. simply undone the bolts and banged the new one on. first impressions are that there isnt a massive difference but i only went for a quick drive to check it was working. will give it a test tommorow and take a pic. it did sound pretty cool though. hopefully it is as good as everyone is saying, fitting was easy though. keirz
thanks everyone. i know the black rocker cover is a bit boring but with all the colour in there it looked a bit tacky to me in silver. i was gonna do the lines on it in lime green but decided it would be a pain in the arse to do!
